are the boards just made to the numbers ordered, or will the vendors be ordering extra?

i'm keen but given the economy (as a contractor) i'm hesitant to pull the trigger on something like this when I know money is going to be tight down the line..

There are usually extras because not all the ones coming off the line will be up to quality standards. So there is "A" stock and "B" stock. I think most vendors will order extras though.

Any pictures of the final dark blue color that will be sold?

Upping this so Gok can see as well. I'm really leaning towards blue if its a decent shade.
+1 on this.

There won't be a proto of the final blue but I will have a Pantone colour. Keep in mind that anodised colours can only get to a certain level of accuracy and won't match the Pantone 100%.
I have a bunch of fan swatches from the TPG, C and U range but I'm waiting for a large swatch because things don't always look the same en masse.

Just saw the satisfaction 75 r2 ig post this morning. Wondering if they can keep their pricing to the $400 ceiling this time too.

Anyone else being forced to choose between this and the upcoming satisfaction 75?

Sat75 will be more expensive, Upas has mentioned in the CannonKeys Discord. Increased taxes are primarily a reason.

I wouldn't expect the Sat75 R2 to run until much closer to the end of the year as well, if that impacts your ability to choose between the 7V and Sat75.

This looks incredible and have had my eye on it since I first started looking at custom boards. Wanted this to be my first full custom but prob will have to wait until I build up more funds haha. Satisfaction 75 r2 might fit in better with that...

Just wondering if someone was able to answer this question. If I were to get this board and solder on in-switch LEDs, are the LEDs toggleable? or are they on all the time? Thanks

QMK firmware has a LED toggle keycode, so you're able to toggle lights on and off and change brightness levels, yes.

Isn't the Satisfaction 75 limited to 100 units like the last round?

round 1 was 250 GB slots, and we don't know if it'll be the same for round 2

I'll be trying to get both.  Atleast with the 7V, it's a open group buy.

The white is an extra cost?

Will it be the usual $20-30?

Also, is it likely that getting a black weight for a blackout 7V will be about that same cost?

Gok mentioned the black PVD was significantly more expensive than the SS, so I am guessing that it will be much more than $20 for the black weight.

I would be expect the black pvd weight alone would cost at least a set of GMK keycaps.

Also, will it be possible to solder in millmax or kailh hotswap sockets on the pcb?

Dang, good job with the psd file. I dled it and opened it up to take a look. Great stuff ... white looks the best imo and it made me realize that gray and black don't necessarily go along with all/most keysets.
