Even if the price is justified doesn't mean you need to buy into it. You have to accept that you can't own every new keyboard. As the community is getting used to higher prices, even if it results in a more refined, durable and luxurious case, it doesn't mean everyone has to be able to afford that case.
You have to let go of the mindset that you have to own every case.
God do I hate this type of "putting your own words into other people's mouths under the disguise of sympathizing "now now child" talk". Stop trying to project your addictive self into other people.
If these guys wants to get compensation for their R&D & design, fine whatever, but at least be
brave and
transparent enough to post what they have
privately sent to
other people so everyone can understand their justifications.
Remember, they're a new vendor. They don't get to have the benefit of the doubt. As designers, surely they understand the import of telling a clear product story to an audience? Is it my fault that they failed to show me why their keyboard is worth its cost? Look at
what Keycult did to avoid complaints like mine.
