This is asinine https://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/comments/3iytsd/usnyhbbv2_galactuswpaypal/
trying to sell a galactus for 300 usd

That's embarrassingly ridiculous. I would love to hope that V2s don't follow the wake of Clacks into the $300+ range, but unfortunately that seems to be the trend  :'(

People might be coming to the realisation that there won't be any more V2s, so all the V2s out there right now are the only ones that will ever exist.

I wonder if someone will actually pay his price for that.

Someone was offering $200 min for CC's, V2's, and KWK's the other day on Reddit. So I think yes, someone will pay that price.

But I was told that GH was the problem and only GHers paid those obscene prices.
lol, I can't believe how much some people are paying for Pulse on MM

How dare you insult our glorious key cap saviour and the pricing of his sets.  They are exclusive one time runs of absolute beauty that are worth whatever people will pay for them.
ALL HAIL

But that's totally different, those are Mito/lyqu1d sets, the apogee of set design that all should aspire to.

Lol nubs is on a roll y'all

You should have seen the backlash when I commented negativly on Massdrop about his most recent set. You would've though I sacrificed an underprivileged kitten or something. Haha
I'm back.

I can't wait to see one of these in person.  The amount of detail in it blows my mind.  I can't even imagine how many hours it took to get the proportions and details correct.

It does look good, but I really like that blue one he posted in the "Official Sales Thread".  I'm not sure if it's the lighting, but it looks like a different shade of blue then the one in the photo with the six different colored ones.

Yea, the other one is a bit more of a teal or a lighter blue. The one in the sales sales thread is a nice dark blue.

I feel like any color scheme will look great with this design.

XD

My white guilt is assuaged by the fact that I actually have Cherokee ancestry and thus do not feel completely horrible due to wanting it partially because of said ancestry.

Also it's gorgeous beyond words.

I think my soul will cry if I don't get one.

My grandfather was 1/2 Cherokee.

If he were still alive I know he would love this cap just for the art alone.

I used to have a neighbour who drove a Jeep Cherokee, if that's any help.

Actually the guy was a complete antisocial psychotic bastard who eventually got evicted, but that's another story.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I grew up with natives, so I feel like I can.  Its a celebration of their culture, its not in a negative light.  I will be getting a tattoo soon that is west coast Canada native art.

Interesting logo on this new Arduino:

Bro's logo is hardly unique.
What makes Bro's logo stand out from the hundreds of other 'fist' logos is the angular design and the circle that encompasses it. Both of which are missing in this 'fist' logo.

Tldr: move along nothing to see here

Dear mr Brocap,

I find it thrilling that your hard work and your latest creation will allow the americans in this community to reconnect with the spirit of their ancestors and will let them beat up natives on a daily basis and without even moving from their chair. This is such exciting news, and I think only great things can come out of this.

Then goes my question, have you though of the non americans communiy that will not find any satisafaction in face smacking a feather-covered face?
As much as I like to demolish minorities regardless of their connection to me, would you consider making keycaps that are closer to the problem of each communities?

For exemple, here in Europe we have a lot of gypsies, that we hate because.
What about some typical gypsy female face with a hood? Or a trailer.

Sincerely yours,

Azhdar el slayor of minorías.

I can almost guarantee that his request was tongue-in-cheek and not serious.

However, the implication that this is offensive to Native Americans does confuse me, and I'm not sure if those claims are made jokingly as well.  I don't see how it's in any way offensive to draw inspiration from a civilization that was once abused and treated inhumanely.

Not sure what you are on about, sir, but I think you have mistaken this piece as something of revile. On the contrary, I have several native american friends whom I have been close to for a number of years.

It's my expression of the admiration I have for their culture. If someone were to make a painting of a native american, and sell that, would you feel the same way?

And to Americans with a problem with this;
You should take that white guilt a step further, and move out of the country. You definitely wouldn't want to be living on the land stolen from them. ;-)

I think what Azhdar wrote was meant jokingly. There's way too many racial biases in one message for that to be serious. But I mean, if he was serious, then well... good day, sir.

The flipping heck have you been taking, you need to get some help man and not say anything for a while .-.

I also thought that but then I remember watching his stream in which he was building a LZ and remembered he was hugely offensive every few moments, never the less its a really odd thing to say also possibly fuelled by the fact that Gypsy's have been having riots and blocking roads in France, just saying this is therapy not some complain about a design thread. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think translation has anything to do with your "joke" being in extremely poor taste.

I think/hope most everyone here is admiring of your work and any references to exploiting native Americans is a "preemptive making fun of" those who would actually allege such things. I hope.
I'm back.

Edit : I was thinking about invoices not the shipment. I already received mine and I've seen more posting about their shipping details as well. Not sure if he's done noticing all about it or not.
