at the moment SP doesn't seem able to fulfill orders in a timely manner (not to mention the production errors).

I'm waiting for the situation to normalize a little, maybe when Melissa will be back from maternity.

I knew this would happen with PMK, but if SP doesn't change something in the production lane I don't see how this is going to change.

GEEZUS...... Melissa is gone from the premises at SP and now they're completely stuffed, I knew she was the absolute lynchpin to that business keeping it functional and now it looks like they've given the job to some stranger off the street  >:( .

Hence no one bothers to buy anything off their website until she comes back.  Always stay with the one who delivers (not a pun here) because yet again we have a brilliant woman keeping a business alive yet again and I bet they pay her next to nothing for all that experience.

People like her are pure gold and should be treated as such.  We always take it for granted when everything goes to plan and now we see close up what happens when the most essential part of this business is removed from that site, utter mayhem ensues.

I know there have been issues with granite R2, but is there a reason to be worried about SP's ability to produce an ABS SA set?

You can drop the homing S key; I was the person who asked for it and I'd feel bad making everyone subsidize my layout (even if it does have a 30 year history). Thanks for adding it, that was a really cool gesture. I'm still in for at least three sets.

Round 5 production (SA ABS) keeps getting delayed and has all sorts of errors.

Still using Matt's first DSA edition on a Kmac and it's still superb (not the DSA profile). 

The colour-way is really that good and encompasses the true RETRO look so easily plus I always liked brown in key sets which are so rare these days.

Everyone here is just getting their Toxic sets shipped to them and it wouldn't be wise to run your Midnight set just yet (colour-ways are similar hence running another one close to Toxic may harm order numbers this early).

Of course Retro is really unique and there are plenty here who worship that set, remember this one was your absolute first here on Geekhack hence you have to follow up with an SA Set, it's just the decent thing to do  :thumb: .

matt3o, I'd love an SA Retro set. If you're doing a uniform profile, I'd suggest row 4

jd, have you tried to mock up all row 4 on a board (inverted row 2 and row 4 mix perhaps) and typed on it yet? I've tried it on half a board and... I didn't really like it. I prefer 1,2,3,3,3,4 like Penumbra, Commando and Calm Depths, although full contour is also very nice (despite the Row3 Shifts). Then again, I may not be representative of the general SA-friendly GH populace.

Because MOST of us here are complete fools for pushing Retro in this area, dedicated for Midnight SA Set then we all should concentrate on the Midnight Set getting made soon.

LOVE to see Midnight done rightly in SA Profile with some added night-fluorescence implemented to the keys to help in night time typing.  Would be neat to see all the keys light up (without idiot Leds disturbing the peace), just the whole key-set lighting up in darkness would be extremely cool.

Make this happen soon Matt3o, we need a unique SA key-set that glows at night  :thumb: .

Either one would be awesome. Inbuilt glow in the dark would be a first though. Would it have to be in polycarb or just embedded in regular abs?

yeah I also know matt3o is helping out with gh60? so i'm ok with waiting, I just hope it's an actual possibility and patiently wait or should I keep trying to find his first release :0

Edit: The base kit is out of stock but they could restock it at any time.  Just something to keep an eye on.
