This looks great.  I'd also love to see split backspace support, lack of split backspace is really the only complaint I have with my Atom68.  I'd also love to see a project like this for the Atom66 w/ split, or at least standard spacebar support (the 4.75u spacebar is problematic to say the least).

I was wondering if the MX PCB will also have Bluetooth, if the switches will be hot swappable on the MX PCB and also what the improved solution for the Bluetooth module is?

I was thinking about getting both the MX and EC PCB so that i can feel what i like best(never tried Topre before) without having an expensive paperweight.

Just want to double-check - are the EC Niz switches are compatible with any MX-style keycaps?

Yes, the NiZ EC switches are MX compatible.  I'm using the MT3 Jukebox set from Drop on my Atom68 currently.
