I'll try to get a comparison shot of the light gray next to the silver mid parts.
Will the brass editions come with the light grey color combination as well or is it all black/brass?
In case anyone's curious, here's the shade of light gray case compared to a silver mid:Show ImageQuote from: mikenogo on Thu, 03 January 2019, 14:16:32Will the brass editions come with the light grey color combination as well or is it all black/brass?Any combination pictured on the product pages should be available at the time of the sale, but I'll clarify again before those sales go live:https://keycult.io/products/no-1-60cuznhttps://keycult.io/products/no-1-65cuzn
Thanks for the pictures , these grey shades are all so nice imo. Any chance you could show the silver next to the darker grey in a similar picture?

Man I'd like to learn from whomever got that black/blue. Sold out in like what 15 seconds? Including catching that the second page had a radio button?
Will more plates and pcbs be available when the brass 1/60 goes live?

What are all the layout configurations possible on the 65, riot?
Didn't manage to snag the blue and silver 60% so I'll try to get the 65% I guess You people just can't read can you? I specifically said it was MINE. You cannot buy it. thanks.
do you know the cost of the poly plates/pcbs?
Just rebuilt this for the third and hopefully final time, heh.Black/silver aluminum No. 1/60 with polycarbonate half plate and 78g v2 zilents lubed with 3204Figuring out how to handle half plate switch solder alignment was interesting learning experience, lol (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) Cherry profile looks killer and sounds/feels cobblestoney but SA types especially nice with this, I don't know how to describe it other than "juicy".Weighs more than I imagined, the brass version must be really hefty.Case assembly and VIA usage was absolute cinch.I love it! Thank you
Actually your instinct is correct I didn't push the keys in fully >_<Also the plate is free-wheeling between the gaskets so if there's sidegaps just gotta unscrew and reseat it. If the rows look uneven.. well that's probably due to my positioning of switches on the half-plate. The pcb-mount pegs sat fairly loose in the pcb so on my first attempt using just a heavy book to keep things in place rows were misaligned and keys were all up in each other's way. I desoldered alphas again and jerry-rigged a grid out of tons of folded paper to space stuff correctly (or at least functionally)... but then that paper wouldn't let me push down as hard on the switches.Typing more on this I'm really diggin gmk profile for it now.
Here dyrdevil, have a bag of potatoes, sorry for the lighting best I can manage right now.I tried to adjust the plate to even out the gaps on all sides as much as possible. The switches on Esc/Caps/L.Ctrl are still slightly visible at the right angle but I notice those are hidden if I tilt the key to the left. Before I tangled with the naked alphas I soldered in the "ring" of polycarb seated mods. As the polycarb plate is very soft, when I soldered them in I think they bowed toward the middle of the board as I pushed down which exposed their underside to the left. They could probably do with a desoldering and realigning with spacers this time but I'll tackle that tomorrow. I never really appreciated what a rigid plate can do for alignment before this build, just took it for granted I guess. Also found my package of WoB delivered outside (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) (Attachment Link)
