Just like everybody is running around with a6000's right now :P
The a7000 sounds interesting, but so does an A9 mirrorless. Let's see what gets anounced before the summer. Gives me some room to save up first. ;)

Such orange!

Very nostalgia.

:D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Recently got a set of e-mount macro tubes, they're plastic, so I'm not in love with them, but they have contacts that allow me to use the e-mount autofocus/aperture/metering....

Stock 16-50mm at about 35mm:

With extension tubes

And with my 50mm Minolta macro:

50mm with extension tubes:

All F8.0, 800 ISO, adjusting shutter to get the right exposure

Picture time!

They're SMK Blue Alps. A clicky switch.

What looks like Costar stabilizers that are Cherry compatible!

Cherry compatible!

The keycaps themselves are nothing to write home about. I have no idea what material they are made of. The codes underneath change per keycap.

Printing ... I have no idea yet. I'll take another shot. They seem to be dyesubs but the plastic used is slightly opaque when I shine a lot of light on it so the edges are hard to capture.

Macro shot.

And some more detail shots:

EDIT:
And a picture without the barrel distortion of the first one :P

Artsy pic. trying to get a better shot, showing that these are most likely dyesubs.

very cool photos! some artsy stuff going on... i like it!  :thumb:
That makes raindrop look really nice! What switches?

thanks! i love raindrop so much!

went with clears, however the Fn key is a gateron blue and the space bar is a gateron black. Feels good! i wish i lubed the clears before assembling but i like it.
