The a7000 sounds interesting, but so does an A9 mirrorless. Let's see what gets anounced before the summer. Gives me some room to save up first.

Recently got a set of e-mount macro tubes, they're plastic, so I'm not in love with them, but they have contacts that allow me to use the e-mount autofocus/aperture/metering....

Stock 16-50mm at about 35mm:

With extension tubes

And with my 50mm Minolta macro:

50mm with extension tubes:

All F8.0, 800 ISO, adjusting shutter to get the right exposure

Picked up a Monterey Mtek K104 for to proxy to a fellow Geekhacker.

They're SMK Blue Alps. A clicky switch.

What looks like Costar stabilizers that are Cherry compatible!

The keycaps themselves are nothing to write home about. I have no idea what material they are made of. The codes underneath change per keycap.

Printing ... I have no idea yet. I'll take another shot. They seem to be dyesubs but the plastic used is slightly opaque when I shine a lot of light on it so the edges are hard to capture.

went with clears, however the Fn key is a gateron blue and the space bar is a gateron black. Feels good! i wish i lubed the clears before assembling but i like it.
