I have to say ... this color scheme looks really great.
Your pics makes me regret to not have being a part of this groupbuy but then I look after the profile and ... I feel better. :P
It would be so cool with regular/normal profile keycaps.

I finally feel like I took a decent picture. Picked up a tripod for real cheap and it really made a difference :D . Just need to work on my post-processing. The Zealio stems are a bit blue.

Not so much blue in the end. What do you guys use for post-prod? Lightroom? DarkTable?

Damn, those caps are really nice! I love the colour and the fade on the edges.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Finally finished replacing the MX Reds on my Majestouch with fully tuned 62g Gateron Blacks. Have a *ton* of respect for people that tune switches now, lots of work goes into spring swapping, stickering, lubing switches and stabs, not to mention the desoldering/soldering in this case:

And a bonus that didn't come out quite as well as I wanted:

Honestly I think they're on par or even better. It's pretty unfair. I also never realized how effective lubing Costar stabs was at eliminating their rattle.

This is a picture I kept on my camera for a while and I decided to put it here. It is not a picture directly related to a keycap or a keyboard but it is associated with our community. This is the drawer in my room where I keep all my stuff in.

I'll try to put myself a bit more into photography. I need to practice.

Do you keep yours on your keys all the time? I do but I'm scared it'll fall off.

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Yeah I keep mine all the time on the keys. Its purpose is to be on the key. I don't like the idea of letting it inside my drawer.

Same here but the leather around the hole on mine is thinner than yours. Anyone know how I can reinforce it? Or if I even need to? I have no clue how strong leather actually is.

New caps from WASD Keyboards (beige, charcoal, orange) on a CM QFR TKL. Layout designed by myself.

I didn't have enough light for the pictures, but I think they are good enough.

Cool pictures, I like them. The lack of light gives a pretty neat effect. Did you post-prod them a lot?

Nice keyset theme as well.

Thanks. No, I didn't touch them, I only added a little bit of exposure in the second and fourth pictures.

Does anyone want so share some basic camera settings? Some of us....(looks in mirror)....are pretty awful with getting good pics. I need to improve in this area  ^-^ Some turn out better than others, but consistency is hard for me!

With my flash I usually keep it somewhere around here

When I'm using a light box the ISO usually goes up a bit since it's a tiny bit darker and I'm at f 13/14/.

And then there's me trying to take a picture with only monitor light:

Now I need to learn to actually use some editing software :p

Tripod, lots of light (for standard product shots), iso 100, play with aperature and shutter speeds for desired effect.

Maybe this would help.  I don't know how simplified this is since I'm bad at picture taking but I liked it.

Longer exposures result in more saturated colors, so stick with low ISO and a moderate f-stop, and use a tripod and remote shutter to avoid motion blur. If you don't have a remote shutter, use the timer.

Also, everyone likes a good shallow DOF  but don't overdo it. Keep the aperture around f/8 or so.

I have a remote, the only think i'm half decent at is astrophotography, and only because i have a really nice mount from my tripod haha.

Solid advice on DOF! A better tripod would probably do me well though. Thanks for the advice!

I dunno, I think your exposure settings were pretty on point for these shots.
