Hello again :hat:

I know we just wrapped up the G81 group buy but I got a chance at some rare boards that have center stem caps that WILL NOT NEED A MOOGLE! Only thing that will not fit is the space bar. These will also be NIB and have brown switches with a card reader and trackpad; also programmable ;-)  I have never owned one of these and feel free to post if you know more about them. Here is a snippet with info about the boards:

Quote
Increasingly, programming professionals are using Windows software for POS and banking applications. And on a cluttered professional desktop, an integrated pointing device is a major benefit. Which is why it was decided to incorporate a touchpad into keyboard, alongside data input devices such as barcode decoders, magnetic stripe card scanners and smart card readers. Extra programmable function keys make entering data even easier. The G80-8113 MultiBoard is a programmable keyboard with touchpad, magnetic stripe card reader, expanded layout and two USB ports.

With a group buy we would be able to get the prices down to $100 shipped (full keyboard) to your door. (CONUS) Right now there is only 17 available.

This will be open to international; But it will be $100 + Whatever shipping is to your country.

FYI to all, Windows and Menu key on the bottom row aren't doubleshot. Spacebar will fit Filco but you have to mod center stem location to make it work.

Reason I ask is because the spacebar that came with the "cheap cherry doubleshots" a while back was PBT. At least, it said "PBT" on the bottom.

So please reply to my PM one of you! ALSO if you would like to volunteer and trade your G80 for 2 G81's and are CONUS I could do that as well. Thanks

Yeah, everyone always asks about international shipping, but it's almost impossible to give an accurate estimate without having the item in-hand, and packaged exactly how you will send them. Everything depends on weight and distance, and which type of shipping service you use. I just sent a G80-2551 to S. Korea via EMS, and it cost me $59, and that's with the $5 online discount. Weight of the package was 4 lbs 6 oz, but I had originally estimated 6-7 pounds, so the price would have been $75-85. UPS and FedEx each wanted about $200 for the same thing.

It can be cheaper to use First Class mail, but no tracking is available.

Based on my experience with US Postal Service, and having a good idea of the size and weight of the package, I would guess somewhere in the $45-60 range.

Same here. I repackaged it yet again for it to work.

Also, First class mail comes with a customs number which should be able to be used for tracking.

Does anyone have a link to the software used to program these?

These are good boards, I sold about 30-40 of them a few years ago.  The only complaint anyone ever had was flex since it's a long board that's PCB mounted (at least the ones I sold were) but it was tolerable.  I used one for a couple of months.  Finding NOS cherry with doubleshots and brown MX in ANSI is tough.  Good score.

I'm loving the shipping notification I got. Good thing I have PBT, or my F5 key would wear out!

It'd really be awesome if I could bring this to work, but right now it's planned for use on my desktop for video watching and light gaming. Hopefully it'll fit well so I don't have to make room.

Now it's time to familiarize myself with cherry tools.

I'm so excited! I'm thinking of maybe selling the keycaps off it, and using it with the used doubleshots I have.

Unfortunately, no. :( I was going to use one of those when I shipped a G80-2551 to Korea, but for the same price ($61) I was able to pack it in the original box and send it via EMS at the post office. UPS and FedEx each wanted about $200.

If you are in the United States and ordered only 1 keyboard from me total your paypal should be updated; they will go out tomorrow. If you ordered more than 1 total your tracking will provided tomorrow as I am picking up some larger boxes in the morning. International buyers expect an invoice from me within 24 hours. My goal here is to have every board out by Thursday.

Ok so with the last packages I sent out that were not getting updated; I called fedex today and they have been holding the packages due them being wrapped in brown shipping paper. Something about it gets stuck and can rip in their machines. Don't ask me why they decided to pull these 5 or 6 as all the others were wrapped the same exact way. So Demik, bossborot, dangwang and 2 others I will be picking up from their office this afternoon and should have an update of what is going on.

Thinking of refunding the rest of my account with fedex and going with usps as this is retarded...

USPS is far cheaper and has been really quick for me. I would consider them, too.

Normally it would be, But my work has an account and got somewhat of a discount. Also the shipping was flat rate; the only reason I have been shipping the g81's complete. No one wants MY boards lol I just didn't have to pull keys

These were supposed to ship a week ago (according to Reptile himself)....

I needed them both for something specific and now its too late. You can refund me if you want, otherwise I will turn around and sell them.

I was just kidding, LOL. I don't care how long it takes....they are just keyboards after all.

I will have a few nice used sets soon here once I find time to sort some sets out.

K so anyone that got a fedex tracking number update on paypal please ignore. I closed my account with fedex and will be using USPS. For everyone that also ordered a G81 I will be stripping the boards to save on shipping; Please PM me if you have a problem with this. The G80's will be the full board in the original box as originally planned. Sorry for the slight delay; International orders expect a PM from me this afternoon with shipping invoice.

He had shipping issues and switched either from FexEX to USPS or USPS to FedEX. I forget which. I PM'd him with the same question Friday. He said they will ship today. He's a good guy with a good rep. he'll take care of us.

Correct; Had to wait for closure of my fedex account which caused a slight delay. But I have just updated paypal with everyone's tracking who are CONUS; Latest ETA is Monday but most look to be Friday/Saturday. If you have not received a tracking update you are either international or did not have your address confirmed on paypal; Please PM me if you have any issues at all.

Thanks

Got mine long ago, pulled the caps, de-soldered the switches, and everything else went in the trash.
