It would be a step forward, but mod-dh should be the standard colemak layout imo, and that should also be supported.

There's a post in the Feedback Hub already! I wish OS developers would just leapfrog all these concerns and release a well-supported low-level keyboard layout creator. It would also help if laptop manufacturers would help out rearranging keycaps - looking at you Microsoft Store!

On windows platform the software was there for years, "Microsoft Keyboard Layout creator". The issue is however that you need to install the new layout everywhere before you can use it. Windows is the last OS which doesn't have colemak built in - it's a shame Microsoft!
