What is Zhuyin?
Zhuyin (BoPoMoFo/Mandarin Phonetic Symbols) is the official transliteration system of Taiwan.
Zhuyin utilizes phonetics rather than the romanization of characters (IE: Pinyin).
Although Mainland China uses Pinyin, Zhuyin is still heavy used in Taiwan.
Now there's an age old discussion of which is better, Pinyin vs Zhuyin (the answer is either).

As a friend from Taiwan put it, "it's old school".

Reason for this kitting?
We wanted these kits to offer great flexibility and compatibility with your extra keys from WOB, BOW, or practically every base kit out there.
The extra tab key allows you to kit out two full boards if using this alongside Minimal or WoB.
The extra 6.25 and 7 unit spacebars allows you to use this as a drop-in alpha kit for ANY set.

Some examples of potentially good matchups: WoB, Minimal, Monochrome, Metaverse, WoB Hiragana Micons, WoB 40s extension, WoB 40s Micons
These are just some examples but ultimately, you can have fun mixing and matching and seeing what you think looks best!

Interesting. Since surely the main cost of this will be in actually making the molds for each keycap, would it be feasible to offer these kits in several popular colorways (WoB, BoW, U9/L9, N9/U9, etc.), with a combined MOQ for all of them, so to speak?

Maybe I'm being dumb here, but wouldn't you need an extra Esc and Enter in addition to Tab to use this with two sets? Usually there are accents for those keys, but I didn't think WoB or Minimal have any.

Yes! My ABC ass learned Chinese using bopomofo for the first 5 years and then switched to simplified/pinyin during high school and now I'm just bad at both. I would like WoB but I don't think my current GMK sets would match well so I'm in for BoW... ^{unless I get in on one of those mods only kits hmmm}.

If I'm understanding the question, they're asking if we'll include 2 tab keys for text/icon and text.

I've updated the IC with up to date renders. We will be following what Drop's WOB and Janglad's GMK Mininal uses (so icon/text for WOB and text for BOW)

So after taking a poll weighing out of the 3, which 2 would people like the most, it seems like BOW and WOB were the top 2 picked.

Therefore, we will be moving forward with BOW and WOB. We are considering running beige later down the line but currently we will be running just BOW and WOB.
