What would you guys recommend to match the minimal, quality, functional design of a HHKB?

thread title doesn't really match the question you're asking..
because 'the hhkb of mice' would not be the same mouse as 'that mouse that is perfect for your needs', in almost all cases.

so are you looking for a new mouse, or is this just a for-fun discussion thread thing?

edit: if you are looking for mice that match the look of a black hhkb:

I use a sensei raw with mine it's got everything I need and it looks good.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

i certainly dig this combo :D

Nice Artisan pad!

On topic, if you like trackballs, the Elecom EX-G has a nice "black" theme to it, complete with black marble!

IntelliMouse but hard to find these days although replicas are being made and sold (believe they even have the genuine MS sticker..). I have the Avior 7000 which comes as close to the IntelliMouse as it can get IMHO: great shape, great sensor, great scrollwheel, great satisfying clicks AND clicks for the side buttons.

The old Logitech G400's, hands down.

Very comfortable and precise.

To the OP, get an Evga X5 and enjoy perfection when it comes to holding and using this device  :thumb: .

Perfect colour match to your keyboard plus it's sensor seems to be perfect, compared to most others out there.

I'm using a Logitech G502 with my white HHKB.. Doesn't match at all! I had the mouse before I got the keyboard but just loved the traditional look of the white/grey HHKB and couldn't resist lol. Such is life.
