We went to Italy!!!  It was great.  3 days in Rome, 3 days in Perugia, and 3 days in Florence.  One more night in Rome, then back to Portland!  It was the first time I've been away from work/kids in...  almost a decade.  It was very refreshing.  Re-entry back into work has been a bit rough, but... hard to complain!

I'm one of the suckers with an aluminum bottom, so it looks like it might be a bit until our marriage bears an EXENT.   Still can't wait!!!

Not to be that guy but an actual, official announcement regarding the polycarbonate bottom kits is overdue by now - "tracking within x days probably" is really not optimal at this point, in my opinion, people get antsy and rightfully so.

I'll be fairly impressed if the polycarb kits ship by december - or even at all, frankly. It would be nice if Juahenza, after all the times it's been requested, would actually make regular announcements, e.g. on a weekly basis.

At any rate, I'm pretty antsy. Pretty nervous too.


My absolutely most incredibly optimistic warm and fuzzy guess is that all the parts have been delivered, and the "team" is soldering together the PCBs (unless that happened at the manufacturer?)

Ah okay looking at the PCB pictures it appears all the components are already soldered, so I have no idea what's going on.

I wouldn't go as far as saying "if ever" is a feasible option here, too many big (and reliable) names involved with the project for something that drastic to happen.

That said, I do agree that it is a little silly that Juahenza stated there's be weekly updates regarding the project like 2 months ago and after the initial one we've never gotten one again. I understand if that's not something he can commit to but if that's the case then don't tell the customers that it'll be done.

That said we have gotten a few sporadic updates from Yuktsi so that's something. I just feel like we need something concrete now.

We gonna start working on it next week. Got procrasinated a little because we couldn't find a good place to sort and pack. But the owner of the cnc manu is kind enough to lend us a place at his factory office now. Just bought some tables yesterday and have most of the things sorted.
