Tagging this to remind myself to place an order.

And based on the last update, I saw ( the 13 days left) - this GB is looking to close around November 3rd?  Correct?

Yeah that's what the post says.

Can we order one with Cherry logo?

Hi DanGWang,

As the orders are getting larger day by day, to ease the trouble of distributor finding each different logo , i suggest we stick to Geekhack Logo first till further notice, because as of now , all the goods will be packed and shipped in barter paper which is opaque , i doubt anyone else would want their packaging to be totally torn and unseal when received. =X Hope you understand where i am coming from.

White Wrist Rest Image up on POST #3

Are those both synthetic?

Yes, Synthetic, For Black , i will stick to Genuine Leather Only.

POST #3 UPDATED WITH RED STITCH AND ORANGE STITCH COLORS.

Manufacturer will use the above image to find the threading available closest to the colors posted.

Anyone who have strong objection on either the red or orange please let me know.

Thank you

The logo of the wrist rest in the first post is indented rather than printed, correct? The cherry logos. Those look good.

Anyone can do a mock up for the WORD "GEEKHACK" into an image for me ?

The image on POST#1 is unclear.

To obtain a good mold we need a clear and precise image.

Anyone have a higher-res image of that logo? I can vector draw it if someone has a slightly more detailed version that I can work from.

khaangaaroo, I used a font called "Traveling Typewriter" you shouldn't need to make a vector of a font :D

you're right, I found a higher-res image of the MKC backspace key, we probably could find the proper font somewhere... I just know that it's "inspired by" typewriters :D

Ok guys, vectorized two versions. First one is based on the backspace key in the original post. Second one is the based on the old geekhack banner.
I'm thinking the second would look better on the wrist rests. What do you think?

Updated post #1 with the geekhack logo =D.

Also, for the logo to be 5 x 1 cm is it too small? Anyone got a preferred dimension? That you find is best?

It's to see things better/easier by using different colored fonts every line.

You mean red and black text? Unless maybe it's white for you if you have retro settings on.
I believe every second person in the list the colour is swapped to make the list easier to read/follow.

That sounds okay to me. The main thing is that it should at least not be underneath the hands when in normal typing position. A bit unavoidable for 65% boards, but 7x1.5 seems to be fine for TKL as long as it's not placed too far towards the centre.

I just found this thread, must have missed it before somehow.
Do you have any experience with synthetic and genuine leather? Doesn't genuine make your hands sweat more?

Genuine leather is more porous than synthetic leather, so you'd probably sweat less. With synthetic leather, depending on what kind it is, it can tend to get that "sticky" feeling when you rest your hands on it for extended periods.
