The problem is what keyboard?
A really-not-so-good ducky? An old Alps maybe with an odd layout?
I think the is the bigger problem than is generally considered. If we had easy access to a Filco Zero or Leopold Lite in the USofA I would be personally more excited at the concept of new ALPS compatible switches being available. As I already have an AT101W with dampened creams in front of me, something more modern would be needed to peak my interest as a home for these switches.
The Ducky 1087XM is an alright keyboard, but I think I would like something of higher quality if I was going to spend the time and money on getting these new switches into a board I would use on a regular basis.
