What i have here is a commodore Spring keyboard. This uses the AT port., and the keys have a great feel. Im really Asking for the best offer.

Before crappy Mitsumi switches Commodore used black Cherry MX and linear NMI switches in Amigas. They could use similar switches in their AT clones too...

Im sorry for not stating that i am US. also I haven't done much research on it but im looking it up. It does have mitsumi switches on it. sorry. also there are pretty cool quick release tabs on the bottom that make disassemble awesome.

That is precisely what I was thinking. I know that Commodores earliest PC keyboards had Cherry MX, and their last PC keyboards were rubber domes, and it was the same with the keyboards for the Commodore Amiga, but also that most of the Amiga keyboards had (mechanical, linear) Mitsumi switches.

The Mitsumi switches in the Amiga keyboards were not that bad. I remember them as linear and quite smooth. Cherry MY and the crap switches in the Atari ST were much worse in feel.

I had opportunity to test type on my old Amigas again. The linear Mitsumi switches in those were very smooth. I did not notice any friction on off-center key presses. I did notice, however, small differences between the keyboard in my Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200. The ones in the Amiga 500 appeared just a tiny bit lighter and bottoming out was a bit mushy while the Amiga 1200 keyboard was crisp. The sliders in the Amiga 500 were black but the sliders in the Amiga 1200 were white.

Anyway, my point is: Not all Mitsumis are the same.

I hope the C64 didn't use mitsumi switches.
The C64 keyboard is the most disgusting keyboard I've ever used in my entire life. Rubber domes feel better than that awful thing.
