Sampling is a required process of keyset manufacturing nowadays, so I imagine Energie will spend time making sure GMK gets this color right.
In fact, he might have already? I vaguely recall seeing a sample on the #gmk-masterpiece channel in Project Keyboard’s Discord.

I'm a Japanese and would like to suggest on the legend for "caps lock" key. The base kit has two caps lock keys, but each key has a different katakana characters, i.e., "キャップス" and "キャップスロック".
caps = キャプス (It is rare to use "キャップス")
lock = ロック
I think that "キャプスロック" is more suitable for the kit. The legend is composed by two Japanese words. If you break it into two lines, "キャプス/ロック" may be better. Of course I understand that non-Japanese speaks don't care it and "キャップ/スロック" may be stable design in view of the character length.
And I noted that some important keys in ISO layout are missing.

You're right, キャプス/ロック is indeed the better option because it can fit on the Caps Lock key without oddly splitting it up. And it can fit easily into given space. I'll make sure キャプスロック is used instead of キャップスロック.
Can you elaborate which important ISO keys are missing? I am an ISO user myself, and don't think (important) ISO keys are missing
As I see it, there are two parts to having good JIS support in a layout: the “alphas”, and the modifiers. From the point of view of the alphas, there are three extra keys in JIS when compared with ANSI; that is ー, む, and ろ in a kana set like this one. ISO has a key in the same position as む, and it also has an extra key on the bottom row, although in the case of ISO it is placed to the left rather than the right. The key to the left of backspace, ー, is lacking in both ISO and ANSI. I believe Masterpiece provides excellent support for all three of these keys.
The other side of JIS support is the modifiers: these are the 変換/無変換 buttons on either side of the space bar (英数/かな on the Mac), plus the 全角/半角 and ひらがな/かたかな buttons on the PC layout. In order to accommodate these, the space bar must be made small enough to add two or three more keys on the bottom row. Exacerbating this problem is the fact that every JIS layout is different! The Filco Minila / GH60 require a 3U space, the HHKB is I think 3.25U, the Archiss Maestro 2S is something like 4 or 4.5... the list goes on. It is thus very difficult for keyset designers to support a full JIS bottom row.
Because of this ambiguity, I am still working on recommendations to give to designers with regards JIS modifier support. I want to find a set of suggestions which will be useful for a wide range of JIS layouts but not require designers to add too many keys. Until I can do that, I am focusing my attention on JIS alpha key support, which Masterpiece already covers very well.
Nevertheless, I have spent some time looking at the keys available in the Masterpiece kits and how they could be arranged for a variety of JIS layouts. I would be happy to share these with you if it would be helpful.

I think it's slightly lighter shade of blue than Striker, but I agree. I'd put it on my U80 Lake (if I had one.... *cries in corner*)

If you forgot which vendor it is, I suggest ctrl+F «masterpiece order» in your email client.
Updates on PK website show 4/16 : requested R3 samples, by when is the manufacturing expected to kick in if the samples turn out right this time? And what would the expected eta look like considering the gmk backlog ?

It's difficult to fault a business, whose primary goal is to make money, for accepting payment from willing customers. I'd definitely consider it a bit irresponsible, but the blame falls mostly on us, the customers, for continuing to purchase GMK keycaps despite their enormous backlog and never-ending delays. We don't need GMK keycaps.
Didn't see any updates from threadstarter and the proxy site I ordered from. Will wait for official updates but thanks anyways!

AND do not trust any taken photos. You need to see the colors in person first before judging color matching. They turned out great. A spectrophotometer was used to match the samples from GMK to ensure color accuracy

This is what they told me when I query my order- “ your order is currently on hold and unfortunately the process to reship to the UK without reaching the threshold is still ongoing, however our VAT has been completed and we are at the stage of implementation.
due to restrictions, we are able to ship only orders with a minimum value of 187,55 EUR VAT Inclusive.
we advice customers to still wait for the UK process to be completed or add an item to their existing order to reach the minimum required amount.
please feel free and let us know how to proceed” your gonna have to either order more stuff to reach that threshold and suffer paying more import fees etc. or wait til they find a solution. It truly sucks haha
