Yeah cables could be longer, but that requires more time and materials which equals more money. I think for most applications 5ft. is more than enough. Sometimes it is actually too long and I end up having to tie it up. I think you are the exception lol.
yes yes i am standing desk an all  and way you could make me a tripple wrapped 10fter?

Hard part is finding time right now :( Just started my last semester and I am working full time too. So right now I am just using up the materials I have to make a little extra cash to buy gas with lol
tis fine just shoot me a pm when yove got time or something ive waited this long i can wait more.

They aren't. Filco keyboards have a cable that connects to the PCB internally (inside the case).

Some cable makers here have made cables that allow the use of mini USB cables. You should search for those, if you're interested. PM me if you need more help.
