Good news! Originative/Sherry is confirmed to run the set! We just have to finalize things with GMK and send them some plastics for color matching, and then it shouldn't be long. I will let Sherry speak to the specifics!

I just hope for a fair price, this vendor tend to be in the premium side.

My set sold at $125 with OCO at GB.

Great news, as long as it's actually a group buy and not another of Oco's "you have to buy extra caps you don't want and for $230" preorders.

GMK raised their prices, but sherry might have some deal i don't know about since he orders so many gmk sets

It will probably be 180 like the rest of the sets lately.

Those sets were not Pre-order and not a GB, They were pre-made and ready to ship.

Is JMD the OCO sales manager? I hope not.

Since OCO also sells 200 USD sets, you might wanna reconsider that.

Every $200 set has additional pad printing as well, so basically all the cyrillic sets (except red honeywell which is cheaper).

So we can reasonably expect SNES to cost 180 USD then?

If Sherry decides to buy them all in advance for profit, then yeah.

If he runs a GB, it'll be $125 or so.

Having this discussed as a community interest check doesn't make it a candidate for a second round group buy? or how a privately owned for profit buy could be justify?

Hey guys, the latest update:

We don't plan to pre-purchase this, so we will definitely be hosting a group buy. The problem is the cost won't be $125 like all of our other great group buys.

Many points going into the price is stronger Euro (weaker USD) and the number of keys. Right now, we're almost at 200+ keys strong for this set. Andy (livingspeedbump) and I are working on dropping some of the keys. There's also going to be samples needed as I don't own the original SNES anymore. We're going to have to make purchases, but these are minor adds.

Are you guys interested in keys like these?

https://gyazo.com/1104070b7fd018f22eee8c322a315e1e

Things like these definitely add on to the cost. We're planning to go for the text+icons to give it a classy old school look.

Awesome! Thanks for the update Sherry! Definitely in for all the above, those hhkb arrow keys are AWESOME. So so so happy this set is back on the books, even if it takes a bit to iron things out. I am in, and I will wait til it's ready to go!

I actually like the idea of it on the Windows / Code.

i'll second that. SELECT/START could replace all windows/code keys as far as i care

e: would like to see them done in N9 dolch base and black legends

I am moving all discussion to here, https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=92050.msg2505270#msg2505270. We will open a group buy page when ready :)

The light purple row could be included in the main set and save all those redundant keys, but make it a full row.
