What I have planned for the cases
  • Same style for both layouts
  • KMAC-Style Case
  • Frosted Acrylic CNC case
  • Acrylic screws
This is to make use of the RGB LEDs that are on the bottom of the PCB. The RGB LEDs come with the PCB AFAIK so you don't have to worry about them.

The RS items are always available on Taobao (for around the same if not less), We are working on cases, LZ might possibly release a hybrid alu-acrylic case if there is enough demand.


As for Race 2, sadly the USB connector is in a different area

No. I am offering a case w/ the PCBs, maybe a week or so after this starts.

Ohh no, everyone on GH wants to have a case made as well on the side, kindly enough Sethk_ has been in the works of getting one, I talked to LZ over possibly a cheaper-designed case for the 75%.

It's solely a PCB GB, no promises on the case, but I am trying to find a solution!

August 14th, will be the start for the PCB gb, with a render and everything.

I am going to attempt to model the 65% version in inventor pro, but I have no experience in it, so if someone wants to help if I can't do it that would be appreciated  :-[

Sry, if I was unclear. I mean the RGB per key. As in Norman_the_Owl's post. What led type is it, seems like some 3 pin type? And what do you need to do with the switches to support this? Because the PCB support it?

My not be a bad backup/alternative for my Octagon or an entirely new 75% even. With plate options available, putting a split backspace and other alternate configurations on my Octagon would be way cool.
