Dr. Hubble - shipping address in the paypal invoice is not the same as what I submitted in the pre-order form; either address should be fine but the one submitted via paypal would be preferred if it's not a hassle for you to change it.

So what colors did y'all end up voting on? I really want a gun metal / dark gray option, but teal, purple, red, black, or some shade of blue all appeal to me. I can't spare the suspense, anyone else ask for #42?

P.S.: I hope for an aluminum plate option.  And would be cool if it could be color-anodized.  I thought the light gold plate for the Skeldon design looked awesome in person when I briefly saw it.  Would be interesting in other colors too, but if it begins to pile up the costs (extra labor), I understand why it might be better to stick with the basic silver.

Do we have to worry about galvanic corrosion if we get a steel plate?

I don't think so in this case, as nothing relevantly conductive should be touching the plate.  I just prefer the feel of aluminum plates to steel, for nicer springiness.  Steel feels very rigid as a plate for my liking.

I've tried different types on my Lightsaver and the only ones I could handle for long use were stock Clears--the combination of thick steel plate + very rigid bottom construction made any other switches I've tried sort of painful on my fingertips.  Use of thin o-rings between the plate/pcb and the bottom case on the stand-offs helped a little.  I did like custom steel plates on stock Filcos because those had more springy plastic cases to compensate, but I've realized I like aluminum more for metal-cased keyboards.  Just a personal opinion

If you submitted a form within the first few minutes, it's very likely you got the number you wanted and almost guaranteed you got one of your top three.

The only reason livingspeedbump knows his number because I personally endorsed a trade to allow another member to have the number they wanted that meant a lot to them. I don't intend on making any other exceptions so please don't PM me asking for trades. While I told the two that all of this was to remain hush till everyone else got their number, clearly they did not follow instructions. I apologize for any anxiety, don't worry, you will all get your numbers soon.
