Still waiting on my hyperfuse but in the mean time I picked up an OG Dolch for my "Dolch" colored TX1800.

Anyone wanna help out with dark shots?  And post processing?   :D

HOLY BOJANGLES, mane... that's absolutely bootiful

T_____T

So good. You a lucky man, mane.

What switches? Must be a dream to type on.

Lubed 60g vintage blacks

It's been a joy typing on these. Finally got to feel the vintage cherry switches and now I'm curious if there is a source for vintage clears.

Board is heavy as balls though. I laughed maniacally when I was unpacking it.

I'm with you, my brother. Goupil cases are absolutely beautiful, and I wish I had one too. The angled all-round bezel edge is amazing.

Yes...
Don't you feel like you wanna keep rubbing your fingers along those angled bezel?
that satisfying feel hahaha

Been rarely see you around here T_T you need to be more active

OOOO~~~ Very good choice! Vintage Blacks are the king of linears (not including Nixxies)! You should definitely try to acquire yourself some Vintage Clears. They are a splendid switch to type/game on too.

There's also Tactile (Purple) Zealios you can consider if you can't find those~

I'm entirely with you on the laughing like a maniac... something about heavy mechanical keyboards that really touches the funny bones *blush*

I, 100%, understand what you're saying!!! I do that already with my bottom edge of the Cherry 1800. HUEHUE. Something about those angles, breh. I also do that with some smooth sides of artisan caps :P Just rubbing my fingers on themmm ~

I know, baby :( I've been rather inactive recently because of personal things. I'll try to be on more often, if not, I'll send you PM's too, etc. <3

ermm, vintage blacks are ~70g on korean scale. please bear in ming that my fav switch is custom linears w/ SPRiT 65g springs, and they are way lighter than my vintage blacks boards. 60g would me closer to mx reds

hope it help to clarity ;)

62g is definitely the next best linear weight. 62g Vintage Blacks were the first Vintage Black switches I had in a keyboard. The absolute perfect gaming switch, for sure!

Sweet combination!  There's not many sets that could improve on the Dolch colourway on that board.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

do you want a goupil 1800 case that made out of aluminium

I'm designing an 1800 PCB... not that there's anything wrong with the Leeku 1800 PCB... I just like designing PCBs and want to run TMK on it.
I bought my Dolch PAC so I could reverse-engineer the dimensions/mount hole locations, and then fell in love with it and haven't used anything else since.
I'm keen to collaborate and make my 1800 PCB compatible with any plans for an 1800 case.  ;D

Oooh this sounds dreamy! TMK on an 1800, I'm in love.

Would it have backlighting support?

Yeah, basic backlight support, just all switch LEDs in parallel with resistors, nothing fancy.
TBH I'm not into LED bling on keyboards, but I put it in for people who want it. I will put in separate control of the caps lock/num lock/scroll lock switch LEDs. (I'm thinking of a low-profile, no bezel case with SKIDATA+ windowed keycaps drool).

I'll post a link to a new thread when I have something to show. /end threadjack

HyperFuse is pretty damn good looking set I didn't get in on. About the only way it could look any better on a standard case would be in the glossy white wNv one

Ooooo ~ I've always wanted to get my hands on that keyboard~ I know you have/had one!!! Mad jelly, bruh :'( Too bad they're so hard to find, that and for a good price. *sighhhhhhhhhhhhh*

I'm with you though~ it'd look pretty damn amazing on that board. I have a spare case, and I'm thinking of spray painting it to match or make a theme for Hyperfuse. If that ever happens, you can bet your ass it'll end up on here :3
