Does anyone know how to program commands like volume up, Play/Pause and the like?
same question here, those multimedia commands were stated as for MAC only in the keymapper, any idea how to make it works in windows?
BTW, I am really interested in your acrylic plate work there JaccoW, have you figured out how to make that glow like Duck' orion? I think the frosted acrylic with 4mm would work, but it's just a guess.  :p
Exactly. But perhaps there are certain macros built into Windows that do the same?

I will get back to the plate in a few weeks. Just came back from my vacation and I need to finish up a thesis first. But I won't forget about it. ;)

I don't know how to identify fasteners. I'd also really like to know so I can add that info to my build log.

Did anybody have issues getting their LEDs working? I just got around to soldering a few on, but they aren't lighting up :(

I was able to toggle the side-LEDs on/off by hitting MFN x 3 + F5... but the same doesn't seem to have an effect for any of the ones I added myself to the alphas.

I sanded my Viper inserts with 320 grit and I'm happy with the results, good tip.

Edit: oh gross, messy desk.

It looks more reflective inside the frame than out but I could be totally off on this and it could just be a picture of the case top without a bottom (but the rumors floating around claim it'll be acrylic or PC bottom)
 :-X

Edit: on second thought it looks like my eyes betrayed me... I was mistaken LOL... it looks like its just a picture of the top case... doh!

Oh ****... I just noticed another giveaway... the grain of the wood is not as defined inside the frame (maybe)!

Also, right under the C in your picture is a streak that looks like refracted/reflected light from what presumably is the clear bottom 0.o

But yeah.... I need to see moar... nao!

Dude, yeah that was the shadow thing I thought you were talking about. Kinda weird.

Well if anything's been revealed it's the thickness of the top casing. You can see that from the bridge between left arrow and right ctrl that the casing doesn't go too deep. Which is something we only see with layered cases sooooo.....

Edit: Realized I'm being stupid, that bridge is always thin no matter what....back to square 1 lol.

It could be a clear Acrylic bottom case. But it could also be the limited depth of field. Notice how the legends on the keycaps aren't in focus either. My guess is he just propped it up on a book or something to get that floating effect

The pcb is connected to the top case through the plate. No need to put a giant wedge underneath. ;)

Orion V2 model is uploaded  :)

Not sure how I feel about the on-face LEDs but that new base looks really nice. I would love the chance to order just the bottom if they are compatible.

Just did a google translate, those on-face LEDs seems to indicate which layout is used. IMO it's better than the blinking in-switch LED on the Esc key .
Both the aluminum and acrylic bottoms look wonderful, hopefully duck will include those acrylic inserts this time in the GB. I wonder if duck would let us get 2 kinds of bottom for just 1 kit?

Yeah I think I could scrape the cash together for a V2, always wanted a custom TKL!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Oh no, it is almost everything I want. 84 key, available in dark grey, I can tolerate those acryl pieces between top and bottom case, but unfortunately they added weird indicators to the top case :( Not a fan of those gimmicks. Here is to hope that there is a version without those or else I have to wait for the next TKL group buy.

The Acrylic plate doesn't seem to be doing much. Perhaps tonight I will see more.

It's a known bug, ever since converting the site to https.  :(  I'm not sure when it will be fixed, but I do hope it's soon.

If you click the shield in the upper right corner (Chrome) and 'load unsafe scripts', it will show the embedded YouTube video.  It will then hide again on the next page you view, however.
