Imagine yourself walking deep in a forest, feeling the autumn air as the cool breeze flows through the branches, heavy with change. The deciduous trees are just beginning to transform their leaves to flame, the rest still shady, undulating oceans of green. You breathe deeply, appreciating the dense scent of warm woods, rich, mossy loam, and spicy pines. Tired from hours of walking through the leaves and fungi, you are searching for something of which you aren’t yet certain. Weary feet require a pause, so you stop and sit in the crook of a forked tumble of roots, wondering if you will have the energy to get home before dark, but still yearning to find that which you seek.
Suddenly you hear a rustling in the ferns and see a flash of burnt sienna tipped with cream disappearing into the thick underbrush. You carefully move the feathery stems aside to reveal the fresh indentations of paws in the dark soil. About to turn and leave, you notice two intelligent, bright eyes regarding you with otherworldly curiosity. Silently you return the gaze, and in those quiet moments of reflection you find the answers to your questions, your search now complete. You feel refreshed, invigorated, transformed. As the fox melts back into its surroundings, you are left grateful for this tiny interaction with the magic of the forest and the wild spirit of its creatures.
It is this transformative energy of change that inspires my first keycap set. Using complimentary deep green teal and burnt orange, I draw heavily on the cozy cottagecore aesthetic of early fall. This is when foxes are still active yet already fluffy with their winter coats, as the world around us silently decays.

Myself as the designer plus all vendors have agreed to donating a portion of proceeds from this set to the small, independently run Save A Fox Rescue. This rescue is a US based non-profit organization which rescues foxes bred and suffering in captivity, raised solely for their silky fur. This sanctuary gives them access to proper diets, comfortable housing, space to run, life-changing medical attention, social interaction, affection, and love.

I would love to see some proper 40's support in this.
I'm not a huge fan of mixing text mods and symbols but at least they don't share a row. Would prefer to see all of one or the other, but this can easily be remedied with the novelties kit.
As is I would definitely get all 4 kits. I kind of wish there was a dark alphas kit as well but I think that might just be a bit overkill.
Also, why Alice B in base kit but no minibars? I wouldn't be upset if the B migrated to the spacebars kit but whatever works best for the set I suppose.

Hope this doesn't come across as too criticizing, just my 2 cents as I see new designers being too ambitious often times and creating expansive sets that are having troubles hitting MOQ's and wish that you are able to avoid that here.

Great looking set! Any chance of a 40s kit? GMK Bushido's nomad kit is a good example of one. You should probably change the second question of your survey to be a set of check boxes instead of a radio button. So my original kitting thought process was to have the second B in the base kit so that Alice users could use the shift keys for their space bars if they don't care about legends, and then that gives them the option to get the space bar kit if they do care about legends, or the novelty kit if they want novelty space bars. I will be making some updates to the IC form in the next few weeks, and will make sure to add that question to it. If enough Alice users want to see space bars in the base kit and it won't significantly impact overall pricing - I know these kits are beasts - I can certainly add the space bars to the base. Hi! Thank you so much! I really appreciate all of this feedback - these types of comments really help with honing in the kits to make them the best they can be.
I am going to be updating the IC form in the next few weeks and will have questions to specifically address both the 40s kit and the Alice space bars. If it looks like there is enough interest for 40s to hit MOQ I can add the kit. For Alice, I had added the B to the base kit so any users who don't care about legends can use the shift keys, and then that gives them the options to buy the space bars kit if they do or the novelties kit if they want novelty space bars. I've actually heard quite a few people mention the eyes on Desk Mat 2, so I will be making an update to it to hopefully lessen the creep factor as that was definitely not what i was going for haha! :D
Also, i'll add a Dark Alpa interest question to the IC form in the new few weeks, so if there is enough interest in it, that is something I can consider adding!

Extremely lovely! Earthy, soft and cute. Really brings the feeling of the outdoors to your desk while also keeping it cozy. Deskmats 1 and 3 especially are phenomenal in my opinion. Very cute aesthetic that feels more natural than "kawaii" like we are used to seeing. This set is as refreshing as the outdoors and animals it portrays. Well done!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate this. I do love the smooshy cuteness of kawaii, but my personal aesthetic is way more natural and had wanted to give people that option.
Also, just to fangirl for a second, i bought Rainy Day not just for the beautiful colorway but because I loved the inspiration and way you presented the IC. That definitely had a heavy influence on how I presented Fox.

Nice set with neat colors. However I would like to advise caution regarding the alternate modifiers kit. It'll be very expensive (probably around 89$ or 99$ mark at MOQ100) and will have difficulties reaching said MOQ. Additionally, the price of the novelties kit also suffers very much from having to carry a lot more keys. I'd ballpark the current variation at around 69$ GB pricing. Spacebars is also rather big, and I would remove the modifier colored bars at least, the remaining kit should be doable at around 35$.

Thank you so much for this! It is super helpful for thinking through the process and I'm trying to sponge everything I can from successful veterans like you. Kitting is (obviously) the most difficult part of this for me: trying to get everyone what they want/need while also trying to keep the costs in the realm of reality. I just want to make everyone happy which I realize most likely isn't possible! It was kind of that choice between give everything in giant kits or break it down to a ton of smaller kits. I kind of said "screw it" and went giant (go big or go home, right?) but that may end up being an issue - being my first kit I'm learning a ton on the fly and I assume this will be part of that (hopefully not so painful) learning curve haha. Once I start talking to vendors the kitting may change some, but I really appreciate your feedback. :)

The only criticism I have is that I agree with Oblotzky regarding kit sizes and MOQ. But apart from that this is an absolutely gorgeous colourway, something I am definitely picking up without hesitation. A Canadian vendor, please!Hi! Thank you very much for your interest :) Yeah, the kitting was the hardest part, especially this being my first set (hopefully it gets easier!). My thought process is trying to get the most people the ability to use the base kit and then they have the option to buy additional kits, rather than forcing the point. But I will be adding some IC form questions next week and as I start talking to vendors getting some feedback from them, so the kitting may change with new info. I do hope to still be able to deliver a chonky base kit that satisfies the majority of people and still hit MOQ!

Just manged to order one of the Hammerhead extras (Dark) off of Clack a day ago. Bummed i didn't get a novelty pack though. Maybe I'll manage to pick an extra up of that when the kits finally ship. Did you hear there expected to ship out in August now!? Ducking covid crap.
My hobby started around the same time, with Yuri and Laser. I was satisfied with just the keycaps for like 3-4 or months, now i'm into the stupid GB keyboards now too... sigh.

This is also my concern. Really like the all alpha cw, but renders look way too saturated compared to the RAL.

The renders currently in the thread are out of date and using 180 80 10 for the alpha color, NOT 180 80 05 as listed in the thread. Until Bone&Bee updates the thread with the new renders, here's a quick preview:

The new renders looks so good! I was also a bit concerned with first renders because the alphas were super mint colored and more towards the cool color temperature, which im not a big fan of.
Like the new alphas so much more, makes it easier to pair with boards or match with other sets without making it look out of place!

These new renders and kitting looks amazing. I'm not the person to just buy base kits because novelties adds so much to the set, But if i were to get just the base i would want an orange escape and an orange ansi and iso enter included. Don't know how would it would affect cost. An white on orange fox paw as a novelty would also be very nice i think.

Hi! Thanks so much for the feedback. I wanted to address everyone at once so I'm not spamming the post haha.
The orange MIGHT be put back into the base, but it's definitely going to come down to cost as I want the kits to be affordable, but also offer the most bang for the buck. Waiting on quotes now, so we'll see how that affects everything. I'll update if it get changed.
To address the ISO enter novelty: this has probably been one of the components I've been most torn on with the set. I really would love to offer one, and had the idea of a hopping fox to fit the key format better. The issue has been that i've already had to cut the amount of larger novelty molds from the kit due to the high cost. Additionally, I'd posted the IC questionnaire to specifically gauge interest for the ISO novelties. Out of the 120ish people that responded, less than 10% had said a definitive yes to the ISO novelty, everyone else said no or they didn't care either way. As much as I would love to offer it to make the few people who said yes happy (and, honestly just to have a hopping fox key bc CUTE) the cost would be prohibitive as it is a large key and an additional mold.
I hope this all makes sense and I haven't disappointed everyone too much. My goal with this set was to make as many people as happy as possible with the kitting, and I truly hope I accomplished that so far.

Yeah this is exactly the spot i'm in and why i'm waiting to get the quotes back. I'll put the orange accents in whichever set it would be best priced in with the most likelihood of hitting MOQ. I know all of the sets are beasts which will be pricey no matter what and I'd have an easier time if I cut them all down. I'm stuck in the vortex of "kill your darlings" right now with some of these decisions haha

I agree that at least orange esc and enter (ISO/ANSI) should be in base kit. I'm not really into novelties, but I like the contrast that these 2 keys give to the entire look of the set and having to buy the novelties kit just to get these would be deal breaker for me
I think the base kit should be the most appealing kit in all group buy due to sales and it should represent the theme. Remove accent fox keys seems very unwise because then the base kit becomes gmk forest or somethings.

I'm really bummed all the orange has left the base kits :c It's not 'fox' anymore at all if you don't get extension kits. I still planned on getting the novelties, but now it feels like the base doesn't speak to the theme at all.
Yo, where my orange accents at? Those are puzzle pieces that made the main kit so great.
Personally fine with seeing the orange in the novelties kit if it's needed to lower the cost on the base kit. Should soften the blow when I get in on that mint mod kit at least ;)
FINAL final kits are updated! Just confirming prices before adding that to the IC, but were actually able to add the orange back to the base kit and still get it to be a fair price! :) BC i agree, without the orange in the base, it's no longer Fox.
