Greetings traveler!

I'm pleased to announce that we are going to give the Arcane colorway another shot after it sadly fell through as a DSA set. This time I'll be focusing on one of the two colorways first, so SA Plague would follow after this is completed. The DSA buy was competing with itself so I want to avoid doing that this time.

Additionally I am skipping the IC phase for this one as the kits are pretty much final and vendors are set, and most of the required discussion was already had in the IC for the DSA version. Ergodox and such have been left out as they move very little units and can be quite expensive (40% and Ergodox kits can easily be 80$+ at low volumes for SA due to lots of mold changes required). So I am focusing on more standard layouts of this community. This doesn't mean you are forbidden from discussing the set until it launches of course, feel free to make conversation! I will remain making IC's for GMK sets and other bigger projects that require more input, don't worry.

Yeah, good point. I'm currently coordinating with the vendors and expect this to launch next week. Will post with the firm date soon.

damn, i've kinda sworn off sa because i feel like it's so inefficient for typing even though it's my favorite looking style. i didn't join green screen because of it even though i thought that looked amazing. i probably still will get this. especially if dsa arcane/plague doesn't run again.

Being a bit cost conscious on my end given some SA Laser, GMK Striker, to come and Waves, Metropolis Skidata running, + your git mods being added to SA Laser. If its split, I will def go for alphas + numpad and if my budget allows mods, else I may have to forgo this, esp after SA Laser OBnet kit.

There are too many good sets being run in parallel, not good for my wallet and heart.

I don't understand the EU pricing. Base kit is much more expensive when converting USD to EUR compared to the other kits. The other kits are between 6% and 13% more expensive in EU, while the base kit is 32% more expensive. VAT in Belgium (where mykeyboard.eu is located) is 21% so one would expect all kits to have the price increased by this ratio. Is this a way to subsidize the other kits via the base kit or something like that?

For example, assuming 1 USD = 0.9 EUR, then the base kit that costs 99.99 USD is 89.99 EUR when converted directly. 89.99 / 119 = 1.32 more cost for the base kit. Novelties is 59.99 USD = 53.99 EUR, 53.99 / 60 = 1.13.

Shipping/import from SP (located in USA) to MKB (located in Belgium as you correctly pointed out) is added to the base kit price alone. I have the spreadsheet for the exact calculation of all the items and it makes sense if you saw all that info. Hope that helps shed light on things!

Thanks Dvorcol  :thumb: If we keep pushing, I see this set hitting MOQ by the end of the GB. I'll be buying some extras myself to help as well. It's clearly far from the scale of say Laser, but I think it will be a very cool set to have down the road :) Thanks to everyone that joined already!

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that. I don't really have insight into how high the cost of importing the sets from USA is so it's not really possible for me to say if their price is unjustified or not.  :-[ I've been talking with Wei to offer the set on their international store page after all, crossing fingers for that to be available very soon.

I don't really have insight into how high the cost of importing the sets from USA is so it's not really possible for me to say if their price is unjustified or not.  :-[ I've been talking with Wei to offer the set on their international store page after all, crossing fingers for that to be available very soon.

It looks like we are about to hit MOQ on the first five kits. I have to make the call that ISO and Spacebars&-keys will not be produced. If you ordered one of those two kits, you should be getting an E-Mail from your vendor soon to inform you of this change and you can adjust or cancel your order if layout support is no longer offered (e.g. ISO layout). Sorry but I gave it a shot at least!

The remaining kits of Base, Numpad, Specialties, Novelties and Alternate Color will remain pre-orderable for a short time until we close this GB and submit the production order. Thanks for your support!

We actually just added up the EU extras and we are 100% on the first five kits. We might lose a few orders due to having to cancel ISO and Spacebars&keys, but I think we can still manage.
