Do you run a BrickLink store by any chance?

Going to be soon

Nice. I'm working on a new MOC in LDD so I'll be all over BL soon.  :D

I wouldn't have thought there was a market for legos like there is for keyboards...but I wouldn't have thought there was a market for keyboards either!

OMG is that sick!  If only that keyboard thing wasn't in the way, lol.

Looks like the Mustang, correct?  Those A-pillars looked like they were pretty tough!

Yes it's a mustang gt500 designed by sheep on youtube.  Hardest part was the functioning brake pedals.  Very complex and hard to get just right, took almost an hour

It's techinc!  Haha!  I love them!  Easier to work with with less pieces, better pricing, mechanics!

Wow. That's awesome; working pedals! I'm quickly changing my mind...

OMG I LOVE TECHNICS!  Do you have a pic/vid of the functioning brake pedals?

I have this set--I think it was the only Technics set my dad would let me buy:

I absolutely loved building it!  You had to build the engine block, crankshaft, the pistons, the timing chain, and the steering rack.  In fact, I remember I even have one of the power modules that looks like a long stick (hope it doesn't have batteries in it still ) and even connected it to the dragster as you could to make it powered.  When it moved, the pistons move up and down like a real engine.  I was always captivated by how things work and this kit was my only exposure to that.  Who knows what I would have done in life if I would have had all the Technics sets I wanted...

This was my dream set back in the day:

And now that I'm older and my birthday is coming up, I need to get myself that toy I always wanted...

There is even an RC version, but that would have put it in the 1000 range YIKES!
WOW!  But that's actually not a bad price considering any decent RC car was $150+ back in the day (I have no idea how much they are now.)

These are some of the earlier Lego Star Wars sets. Not as detailed as the newer sets, but with a lot of charisma.

My dad has spent 23k+ on lego, mainly older trains and train-related sets, we have 20+ in total. We have a few duplicates among the older stuffs and some really nice sealed sets, like horizon express x4, metroliner, club car, sydney opera house, haunted house and the dirt crusher. I don't have any pictures so hopefully this link will do. http://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-niklasgustaf

They take your ticket and rip it up when you come claim it. I asked if I could keep it and she let me and said I could come back later for a new one but I was too tired to return.

What's it like on the inside? I remember having this thing with V8 engine and working shifter. Better than body panels.

The inside is awesome, full bucket seats, working steering and the best, working Tiptronic (the yellow things) with a dual clutch gearbox. You have the six-cylinder boxer in the back, although thats covered with a black plate for whatever reason. Even the gear selector works, in neutral you have no engine movement, in drive everything works and in reverse it changes.

So I don't really do Lego unless it's Star Wars, and I don't really do Star Wars toys unless they're Lego. Here's my modest but growing collection (sorry for the potato pic)

Yeah, it's a new one (from EP VII - you can tell cuz the rectangular antenna dish). The classic one I want costs a pretty penny - the ultimate collector's series. A NIB is $6,000 US on Amazon, but if you're patient you can put together the pieces for a bit over $500

My favorite lineup is POTC, still debating on the silent mary though.

This is probably my favorite set. It is an automaton by Amida.
I have it on my desk at work and everyone loves it!
