Title: IBM M2 with rubber domes

Anyone know what this is?  It almost looks like an M2 embedded in an outer plastic case to make it up to about the same size as an M.

The (few) rubber dome M2s that I have seen all had part numbers starting with "7" (like full-size Ms).

Ah yeah, this is the Education variant. This was sold to schools with that outer case around it for...some reason...and they were all exclusively rubber dome. Yep. Education variant.

Interesting M2!  I never knew the trivial that there was a bigger version for education.  I really loved my M2 I grew up on - great board.  Though it sounds like this one is different.
