QMK tap/hold
« on: Mon, 17 May 2021, 00:10:39 »
Hello!

I just built a corne and flashed it with QMK.  I am trying to set it up similar to how I have my homebound ergodox, which means mapping (eg) a to a when tapping and a layer push when holding.  I see docs in QMK mentioning similar functionality, but aside from defining tapping term (one way or another) I don't really see how to use it.  Is there a way to do this with QMK?  Are there examples anyone can link me to?

Thanks either way!

(written on my WIP corne!)

If you program your own QMK, you can do anything, just check their docs

If you use QMK configurator

https://config.qmk.fm/#/tkc/candybar/lefty/LAYOUT

check the Quantum tab, the LT0, LT1 are probably what you want.
