Title: Trying to convert my keyboard to removable cable, can't figure out one wire
Post by: josysclei on Tue, 30 November 2021, 22:19:53
I have an old Ozone Strike Pro, and I thought it would be fun to try and add a USB-C connector to the back, so I could use a removable cable. The internal connector has 11 pins, with a multimeter I have traced 6 for audio pass through and 4 for the USB connector, but I can't figure out the last pin. It's not USB housing. Maybe the internal shielding the cable has? But shouldn't that shielding be connected to the housing? Can I just ignore it? Any help appreciated, picture attached below
