I would say Realforce 87U if you don't need a portable keyboard in the future. And 55G domes are much nicer to type on then 45G domes imo.

Both are great keyboards, although the legends on the FC660C keycaps tend to wear off somewhat quickly (was that just the earlier batches?).

Can't go wrong with either.

RealForce if you want a more conventional TKL layout, FC660C for 60%.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just broke out my R2 55g silenced. I very much prefer this to the FC660C as RF R2 comes with PBT spacebars standard and the thock on it seems to be pronounced when compared to FC660.

Just my thoughts....
