Received a white blank keycaps and the Ctrl & Esc caps from Amazon JP today and IMO it looks better compare to the blank black caps. :thumb:

Also, I noticed a bend/misalignment on the HHKB case from previous mod I did on the HHKB(transferring domes, orings, lubing, etc) and was hoping whether anyone have any idea how to repair/solve it. I tried removing the PCB and housing and just screwing the top and bottom case only, but the bend is still there.

OOO very simple but i like!! Unfortunately, from what I can see, that bended part was pulled too hard on when opening it, and that'd be rather hard to fix... but I don't know too much because I've only opened up my HHKB once. Hopefully someone can help you, but if it's what I think it is, that'll be kind of difficult to fix.

That happened to my first HHKB, i couldnt figure it out after opening and rescrewing a couple times. Eventually i figured out the wires connecting to the controller werent laying flat and pushing up on the case. Slide the plastic piece holding the wires to the middle and make sure they are laying flat. Thats what did it for me

I think Milk Pink is just a little too light and Tickle Me Pink is just a little too dark. Now that I look at it again, it would be a better match if it was the slightest bit lighter, but I can hardly tell the difference. Depends a lot on the lighting.

Wow thanks a lot guy! I tried putting the ribbon at a flatter state and now the bend is gone. :thumb: :thumb: Thank god I don't have to send the HHKB back to Japan for repair.

You know, this should be kept in some FAQ or something. Would be good if we have photo so we know what exactly to fix. I bet a lot of modder will face this problem!

Oh my goodness, that looks incredible Nubbinator.  I love the tablecloth/wallpaper in the background too!  You're a new convert and probably have one the best looking HHKB's already!  :D

I'm still in awe of how well that turned out.

Btw, where did you get that background? I've been looking for some new background ideas but my local fabric shops don't have anything interesting.

It's paper from my local art supply store.  They have a ton of awesome paper.

I forgot the space bar was ABS, so I didn't have much choice (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic):
