I've never used a flipped space bar till now.

Received my new favorite board ever from bro. Realforce 104 UB-DK. the space bar is flipped and I left it, feels cool. Love this damn board.  8)

Yeah I never felt the need to flip the space bar until I got a Topre. Just feels better without that sharp edge digging into your thumb.

I really look forward to seeing more of yours! Might just tempt me to save up for one, again. The only thing I was worried about is the spacebar. However, I love where the backspace is though. I think the layout looks beautiful too.

When I was planning to get one, I would constantly place my thumbs on the spacebar of my HHKB and then look down to see where my thumbs were to see if that small spacebar would be an issue or not. The jp version has a different stagger on the bottom row than a normal keyboard. So you kind have to try one in person to see if this bothers you.
That's pretty much the only reason I got a regular HHKB.


But looking at these pictures and falling in love with Topre way more than I thought I would,  I think I'm definitely going to have to pick up a JP one the next time I'm in Japan.
It's just too sexy.

The bottom alpha row is shifted to the left. The gaps are much closer to lining up as opposed to being towards the middle of the key. Compare it side by side with another kb.

Damn guess I need to do more hunting. Probably easier just to buy a novatouch for the stems.
Hmmm I wonder if the stems from that fake topre board would work.
