HONEY/TKL/GRAPHITE (TKL black/grey kit | $89)

Not bad. I wish I had unlimited money so I could get alllll the honeywell. I just can't know what I'll like without seeing these combinations. I could just wait for these to pop up in classifieds though.

I am so tempted to get this ...if I knew the price would come down.....just add some of the colorful numpad options and some spacebars to get a full set....

We need you Ray!!!  I just ordered a graphite TKL set.  Must order by today to get the prices down.  :)

I had to gut a lot of what I ordered in order to afford it though.

My final order (so far):
HONEY/TKL
HONEY/FORTY
HONEY/SHIFT175
HONEY/LOTUS100
HONEY/SPACE625 2
HONEY/KBDRUNNER/RED 2
HONEY/TKL/GRAPHITE
HONEY/SHIFT175/BLACK
HONEY/TILDEBPRIME/BLACK
HONEY/VERTBSL150/BLACK
HONEY/SPACE625/GREY
HONEY/LOTUS100/BLACK 5

1 x 40%
1 x Honey TKL, 60%+Pure Layout
1 x Honey Graphite TKL, 60%+Pure Layout, 75% Layout

Now I am broke...  Haha...  Especially since I have TONS of parts on there way for the 5 keyboards I am building...

Did anyone order a blank TKL set? I ordered two of them, but if we order more we can get a bigger discount. I'd be happy to proxy for anyone in the US.

Or if anyone ordered blank sets, would you be willing to let me jump on your order? We could get a nice discount for multiple orders.

HONEY/TKL/BLANK (TKL blank kit | $79)
Rebates for larger orders:
2x 75%   <---- i'm at this pricepoint, but would love more people to jump on
3x 65%
4x 55%
5x 50%
6x 45%

Yeah when I saw the Grey and Blacks I nearly keeled over in utter frustration because I had thought I had selected the right combination of colour-ways and was saving up for the final payment, then these presented themselves.

Have now re-alined my order to include these babies.  How can you ignore such beauty & colour in an SA Profile?

The grey and blacks looked really good. It could emulate an old IBM terminal keyboard. But I asked myself, is it really in the spirit of being Honeywell keyboard? It's not. And I do have enough SA key caps. So I stuck to HONEY/TKL and some red escapes and space bars.

I would love to go grey/blacks if I have the funds but I need to prioritise. Grey and Blacks and not HONEY anymore as far as I am concerned. So, 7bit still owe me $10 :P

You can still change your order.

That's one thing I like about 7bit, you can customize your order anyway you like until you hand over the moolah, then it's fixed permanently.

I don't know if this GB will ever see the light of the day. But it's my first time participating in 7bit's GB and I heard round 4 took even longer! I shudder to think when it will end.

just FYI

the new set HONEY/TENKLESS/GRAPHITE has been added

A quick preview:

Show Image

It includes all the keys of HONEY/TENKLESS but in black and grey.

HURRY UP! because we have just few hours left and if we want to reach a decent pricing on that we have to increase the order count.

PS: remember to get the grey spacebars too!

Aaaand there goes all my money.

I find that it is just taking too long and am wondering if I could cancel, get the refund, and channel the money to get a Silver Brobot instead. As it is, I already have too many key caps set as well. Have anyone got the refund? Is it in days after cancellation? If I have to wait until the 'sale' ends to get a refund, I would have missed the Silver Brobot, then it is moot again.

In the dt thread it says 3 days left and in the GB thread it says that the 15 sp should be starting. Or at least that sp SHOULD be starting then.

Who knows for sure.

New deadline is 28 February 2014.

...but I have no idea what the new 50% in the titles represents now.

Is he expecting us to double our current orders?!?

the new % is related to the new white kits (when it reaches 100% you can hope in a price drop for those kits)

Feb 28 deadline is based on SP schedule and it's not 7bit's fault.

7bit GBs seem always to take some time, but there's no problem with updates and communication, so it's fine by me.

The % in the title is the % of the minimum quantity necessary for the all white sets to be ordered.  So at 100% they will be ordered.
The delay to feb was because of tooling that needs to be made.

Feb 28 deadline is based on SP schedule and it's not 7bit's fault.

7bit GBs seem always to take some time, but there's no problem with updates and communication, so it's fine by me.

The issue for me is that this time it was supposedly going to be different.  We knew from the start that R4 was going to be a slog.

Changed deadline again, time to file paypal dispute.  Fool me twice...

Please don't do this.  You could screw over the entire buy if Paypal starts locking accounts.

I echo this sentiment.  I usually forget that I ordered something and then it shows up in my mailbox a year later.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

It makes a big difference since he is always active and has a pretty amazing ordering system in place. Being a part of the buy and reading the threads is part of the fun, and then you get caps too!

That's true. I admit I enjoyed the initial phase of configuring the caps, tweaking and making requests. It's really fun and I'm glad that I'm in. But then it gets bigger and bigger and bigger and I'm totally lost. There's like 4-5 sets in there at this moment. This must be the biggest GB ever!

Will these caps work well with a ergodox? Different row profiles make me unsure.

For me it is  :thumb: .  By far 7bit's Honeywell drew out the sweetness from my wallet big time.  I'm use to the way he runs things because he has done it a few times before so no one should be standing here shedding tears, on why this GB is taking so long.  In the end they will get made and sent to your address, enough said.

Just want to remind everybody that the deadline is in about 8 days (28th February).

I intend to send the order on the following Monday. So, please send your orders and money in time. There will be some additional kits ordered, but some might be sold out shortly after the deadline.

You all heard it here.  The final countdown is happening hence send in the moolah.  The Honeywell is one of the BEST SA profile available and will fit any type of keyboard currently made in the world.

You can always rely on 7bit to let you know here, instead of some scumbags who disappear after taking your money and will never let you know what's going on.  7bit is updating his thread here as well as on DT, hence you will always know what's happening during any Group Buy that he conducts  :thumb: .

This is the single MOST reason why I get involved with any GB's he runs because he will always deliver the final product from SP, to your front door without any problems.  That comes from years of exposure in running such events and you shall experience that when you receive the items you paid for in full and appreciate 7bit's skill, in accomplishing such huge and successful campaigns such as this.
