So I'm an idiot and a total newb.
When shopping around for switches, am I looking for PCB-mount or plate-mount? I've ordered my Jane with a plate, but not sure that makes a huge difference...
the pcb is using tx87's pcb, which i believe is pcb-mount switch compatible as well. so it doesn't matter if you bought pcb mount or plate mount switches.
some ppl like the idea that using pcb-mount switches with plate gives optimum stability due to the extra 2 legs mounted to the pcb.
i'm not too sure if it's been scientifically proven or not, but i myself don't find any differences between pcb-mount and plate-mount when used it with a plate (acrylic or metal-type).
but one thing for sure, it does gives u some form of 1337 feeling when using pcb mounted switch LOL!
oh, another thing to take note, pcb-mount switch can always be converted to plate-mount switch by clipping off the 2 extra legs.
