Have a look on the post and I don't know whether your description mentioned that this switch is using new mold that is similar to the ones making alpacas or just the same mold?

All that is known to us is that these switches came off the exact same line as alpacas.

After trying them for a bit they feel the same (aside from the weight) as far as I can tell.

Just wondering, what lube is used for the stock switch? And what is the feedback on stock lube? Do we need to relube? Thanks!

Honestly, even dry JWK linears feel very smooth and could easily be used without lube if you want slippery smooth switches.  But the trade-off is that they are clacky.  Some people like that.  Some don't.  If you don't like the clack, you can minimize it a lot by filming the switches, getting rid of the rattle on upstroke.  If you would like to further quite the switch and make it somewhat thocky, you can lube with 205g0.  I have some boards with switches only filmed and some with switches that are filmed and lubed.  They feel only slightly different; however, they sound drastically different.

Thanks for the info. So I can just lube them with 205g0 without removing the existing ones first?

Yes, you can lube over the lube.

If you are picky about that, you can buy Novelkeys Dry, which comes without lube [as do many custom runs].

Too late I already ordered the lubed one lol. That's fine it's linear anyway, not too fussy as long as it is smooth. Thanks for clarifying.
