GMK SOPHIE

INSPIRATION:

As a parent of a beautiful dog, it is almost a natural instinct to capture and share the beauty and cuteness of my adorable dog.
It is my joy to introduce you to Sophie, a White Swiss Shepherd.
White Swiss Shepherds or also known as Berger Blanc Suisse, originated from Switzerland as it is written in their breed.
They are known for their luxurious white coat, pointy ears, intelligence, and everlasting cuteness.

GMK SOPHIE will consist of 3 kits: Latin Basekit, Novelties, and Spacebar Kit.
There are only 2 colors used for GMK SOPHIE and both are from GMK standard colors, GMK CP and GMK 3C.
Novelties for GMK SOPHIE are represented through puppy paw, 8 variations of emoji-like Sophie's face, and 'SOPHIE' lettering.

COLOR CODE:

The color palette for GMK SOPHIE uses GMK standard colors CP and 3C.
Sophie's white coat is represented through CP to give a more natural tone, compared to GMK WS1 which has a brighter and flawless white tone.
GMK standard color 3C signifies Sophie's pink ears.

KITS:

Latin Basekit


The basekit will cover 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL, 1800, and full-size boards, with terminal ISO, F13, Tsangan support, and minimal compatibility for 40% and Alice boards.

Key unit labels have been added.
u - unit
s - stepped
c - convex (spacebar)
scpd - scooped homing
barred - barred homing

Novelties


Provides enough 1u keys to fill out a 5x2 macro layout, enter key + R4 mod novelties.

consider adding accent bars in base. set looks nicer with the pink bar. also chances of getting a vendor to run 2 base kits here are low. i'd prepare to chop one. thats cool ur dog speaks japanese

Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep the kit with the most vote I studied Japanese so I taught my dog to understand a bit haha

I think there may be some confusion. I don't see an extra B for Alice layouts, so I'm not sure if the render on the Amano would have a key that doesn't exist in your kits or you'd use a different key in the place of the additional B?

Cute. Personally, I would ditch the swiss novelties, keep at most one. Also please more variation on the dog novelties. From more than 50cm distance they all look the same.

I think GMK Orange Boi’s, although not dog thematic, novelties are top-notch. What I am saying is, that having the same face and shape but with just different small face gestures is not enough to make the novelties appealing.

Will follow next updates on this set nevertheless! I like the colorway.

I think this set would be stronger if you leaned into the dog theme more than swiss. Also if you’re going to have accent 1.5u enter maybe consider accent r2 escape.

I also think it's a good idea to diversify the novelties. Maybe a toy that Sophies loves to play with, or a piece of clothing (like that scarf in the photo you posted) that fits her really well. Hell, maybe just her pointy ears would be a good idea. At the moment most of them look the same from a distance.

And maybe the Swiss novelty can go?

The original IC form has been edited to where you can now edit your response if you have any updated feedback/suggestions! Additionally, 2 deskmat options have been added!!
