Yo — I don't want to mess with my formatting, so the updates are going here now.
KLC has been added as a vendor and they'll be selling this kit alongside their own custom EC parts. No need to harvest. More info down in the availability section.

This is a keyboard that's inspired by an artist that I listen to a lot. It's designed for Topre and MX. Originally I wanted to have something a bit nicer than the stock Pro Classic case with the intention of harvesting most of the parts from it, but as it ended up taking Deskeys housings and a custom PCB, it's probably better off as a kit. No horses were harmed in the making of this project, although a f—k ton of polycarbonate was.

The global vendor for this will be KLC.

I think at this point the unit count will ultimately be determined by how much the average keyboard hobbyist is interested in EC. Topre is still quite out there.
Time for a good social media presence to preach about the church?

KLC will be offering EC kits alongside this project, eliminating the need for donor boards. Cip says we should gut less Pro 2s in this world.

Internal weight screws?
No, it raises price and machining more than I'd like. Plus I think my screwholes are cool.

(top)^ 1. Not "true" F1 mount as the O-ring cord is cut and there's no topside isolation.
^ 2. Measured without feet.
^ 3. Uses the MX style model in the plate which rests slightly higher than Topre; .2-.3 mm lower would be more accurate.
