I can't seem to edit my previous post, but you know an option is to just say to everyone, "Sorry, I can't assemble the boards anymore", refund the assembly fee, and ship out everything. Just be done with this project.

Some people will be mad, but I will not be one of them. I'll figure out how to assemble it myself.

Ugh, why am I not even surprised that there are more delays again... Guess it would have been better to just write this one off after missing the October deadline and assume it's never coming, and just act surprised if it ever does arrive assuming one doesn't move away from the address they submitted when this buy started by that time

I keep forgetting about this GB until I want another keyboard. Really hope this ships so I can build something new soon. Has anyone requested a refund recently?

There really hasn't even been remotely close to a good reason why this has taken X months more than it was supposed to. I hope we all get our keyboards one day but at this point to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'm usually incredibly patient but we've seen "pictures."

At what point do you just sit down, quit screwing around, fulfill your "commitments", print out shipping labels and be done with it? If ~50 orders overall is true that emphasizes my point even more.

Since this thread has been posted KBDfans for example has basically teased, GB'd and sold multiple keyboards, keysets etc.

Sad.

If it is just shipping issues for those who ordered the PCB or the case, perhaps we can ask another Korean(s) for help. It's just packaging and shipping labels only, right?

For those who ordered an assembly of the keyboard, I guess waiting is the name of the game.

I personally think refunding assembly fee and just shipping out the parts should be the way. I know he is moving to USA or something according to the grapevine but just package and ship if there really are no problems otherwise. Refund the assembly fee and call it a day.

Moving to US or just a business trip? If moving to US, it will be not be a good news to this GB because I don't see him moving the cases and the PCB.

I thought it was moving to the US but I have no insider knowledge. I just thought that's what someone said in this thread I think. And I also thought the main concern he had was all the people who wanted it assembled and it sounded like he simply didn't have the time to do all the assembly for so many kbs.

So he replied to my email asking for an update guys..

This is what he said.

Leaves me a tad bit confused as to why the parts only came in "yesterday" and this whole time he has constantly told us that he would be shipping them out on or by X day...but well..

As long we get our keebs, I will be happy enough..

Leeku sent me an email just an hour ago, out of the blue.

This was what he said in his email:

So looks like it's gonna start shipping (hopefully) once he sends out the emails to everyone and gets replies in.

Can you pm me his email. I'll give it a go today or tomorrow and see if we can put more pressure to get this GB done. It's hard for me to believe he is "just too busy or too lazy" to finish it ... makes me think there is a bigger issue (manufacturing defects that he might not be telling us about). I mean he had so much time to do this (literally months). You can't be that busy/lazy to not even send 1 kit out, can you?

It has been 12 hours since he replied to my email of sort of calling him out and telling him to just update the damn thread haha. His reply was exactly this:

"I am thinking I will do whatever you want.
Let me update thread and send you all email.
I can't even say sorry.
See you"

I mean if he still posts nothing, I wouldn't be surprised. He has lied to everyone else that he replied to via email.

Yeah, the only thing we can do it seems is to spread the word about what happened. I just hope we don't get hate because this is a pretty known kb member who has a lot of friends/connections in this community.

He doesn't want people to wait any longer. Shipping them to the USA will take a long time. When they arrive he will wait till a better time to distribute. But he feels stressed holding on to people's money any longer while being unable to finish the buy.
