Hey, my name is JD! He should just sell all the J and D to me. Bwahahahahaha!

You must haz lots of moneys.

He did make a post once where he said (paraphrasing), "I don't give a **** about money."

There may or may not have been some relevant context, but whatever.  :P

Clack messed up for once :o.  I wonder if it's safe to go to bed.

He said it is closed. Will probably just ask the very few who got those (little left) in order if they are okay how it is or want to swap.

i think the most straightforward solution is to just assume that everyone who put down D actually wants J and everyone who put down J actually wants D while sifting through the emails.

actually, just noticed they have different switches. that's troublesome.

Gulp...

Ooops!

See people, this is what I get when I don't just cancel a sale when I'm not really physically able and don't have the time needed to do things properly and stuck unexpectedly away from home.

I royally efffed up. I swapped J and D by accident. I'm very sorry to all those who participated who this likely messed up.

I am officially closing the sale now CHECK THE TIME STAMP ON THIS POST.

I'm trying to figure out a fair way to resolve this.

Again, I'm very sorry.

I'm glad to see the prices in this sale, because now I know for sure I'll never own one of these. It's kind of a relief not having to jump through sale hoops any more! Plus I'm glad CC is going to be compensated somewhat closer to aftermarket value.

They were  great, but of the human variety.  It was weird though since the kids spoke little to no English.  Still a lot of fun.  I have no regrets.

You just have to go with it and trust that CC will create balance in the future. He does have other things planned for Soon TM. Maybe one is an international only sale. Who knows. He has been doing more sales open to certain people only lately. This may greatly increase your odds of acquiring new clacks when you're the one eligible and others aren't. I was pretty sad when I wasn't eligible for the EDD sale because I got in on 420, but I'm starting to understand it now. I'm not able to participate in this one myself as a Canadian. But my day will come and when it does I can only hope for a sale opened to less people.

The names match the colours perfectly!

Nice one CC! :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That veteran is ****ing beautiful. I love the muted colors against the white of the eyes.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

And the sculpted detail on that eagle is really amazing, especially for something the size of a keycap.  I want to stroke those eagle feathers...

EDIT: Looks like it's been corrected actually, so I'll be resubmitting my list :)

I just did the same as HoffmanMyster. Hopefully that is what CC wants - I don't think when you send your order today (Aug 1st) will matter, because he will be going off last night's email time-stamps.

I hope this is what Clack wanted - that's how I read it. Quoted below. If this is incorrect procedure and he was going to wait for something different then I hope Clack lets us know - just so we know if we have finished the ordering process & done so correctly.

Quote
I will update the picks when I get home (if I'm on two feet still) and you can resubmit your order sometime tomorrow.
Once all the orders have been resubmitted and then I will reference your original "place marker" email order and exhaust the keys I have left in that order (just like a normal sale).

I am crossing my fingers & hoping for some birthday luck to rub off for this sale  ;)
Best of luck to everyone else, & congrats to those of you lucky enough to "win"  :thumb:

I also feel bad for Clack as this will make the job of sorting out all orders more complicated than normal.  :(

He has that @ least 1 "extra step" in checking for all resubmitted orders today for changes & then go back to the "official time" emails from everyone's.

I feel sorry for you Clack my bro, & I hope you regain your full health asap!!!  :)

I cannot believe

1) That I went to sleep early, somehow FORGETTING about the sale
2) how amazing those clacks are  :blank:

Can someone explain what happened
