what is the benefit of using a steel plate... is it a sound thing? i thought we were past that
We chose to utilize a stainless steel plate because it contributes to a unique sound profile and also provides a more solid and satisfying typing experience.

The funny thing is he also made it a requirement to have hurricane restoration plans (I.E. insurance)...

So deny the threat but require insurance to cover it, what could go wrong.
The next major one will send insurers running, the few that are left and they'll take their money with them just like they did with Hurricane Katrina. At which point the feds will have to handle it... You know, the ones they way to get rid of.

The Last Kumite (2024),

Now, supposedly this movie was deliberately made in the style of an 80s action b-movie.

Yes, it succeeds in that respect.

The HDR is really badly mastered, SDR version might be better.

You got the new Zojirushi, or the Midea?
Midea

No way Tp4 would buy Zoji Japan, and if you buy Zoji China, why not Midea? Midea makes all the Toshiba cookers.

Some early workstations had a "fast" or "repeat" key that told the OS to increase the repeat rate.  Such a thing would be handy in console windows when you want to move the cursor rapidly.

> side buttons

Excellent idea!

People feel stronger in groups. If these politicians can make their followers feel heard or vindicated, they secure their next vote.

What hurts the most is that this actually makes people feel vindicated...

Yes, and how great would it be to see THOUSANDS of people wear masks in spite of it?  It would take all the wind out of their sails, no?

Unfortunately I'd say it really wouldn't, the far right would come up with the next topic to try to get their supporters fired up. Not the far left is any better, politics is in such a weird & ignorant place right now it honestly baffles me how fast we've lost the plot. No common sense whatsoever anymore, all the most debated issues are the least meaningful ones, news channels that cater to either side & actively lie to get ratings, etc., etc. I gave up on trying to figure out how we let ourselves come to this.
