I might not be able to run it, because high school. The topic came up in IRC, after I mentioned my favorite pair of socks got ruined after my power strip exploded.

Where would we source the socks? What would they be made of? What color(s)?

For greatest comfort I suggest natural wool blend without elastic.

They are warm, dry quickly, and durable.

I'm a 100% cotton fan, myself. They don't make your feet smell.

I really like the softness and breath-ability of bamboo-cotton socks. Sadly they become rougher every wash cycle  :(

I wear socks made of toilet paper. That way, if I'm in the woods and need to handle my man-business, worst case scenario I just come home with one sock.

Sadly I have had to use regular socks for toilet paper.... it was not an enjoyable experience, but it was better than the alternative.

I'd have to go with 100% cotton as well, wool socks are terrible and I have tried various pairs just to completely hate each and every one.
