ergonomic with blacks/browns?
« on: Tue, 09 March 2010, 09:32:37 »
All the raving I've been doing since I got my Realforce has rubbed off on my friend and he wants a new keyboard for gaming. The only problem is he uses the ergonomic layout and I don't know anything about those. Are there any ergo boards that use mx black or brown switches?
Realforce 87u 55g, Northgate Omnikey Ultra, IBM Model M

The Kinesis Advantage has browns, IIRC, and Maltrons have blacks. Then there's the vintage Cherry G80-5000 (ErgoPlus) series with browns.

Unfortunately, you'll typically be spending serious money on any of them.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

True in my Kinesis, Maltron.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.
