Bro, be happy that it is just 5USD more compared to last time. The market price or at least the value of this board are far exceed that price. Sadly this time no int. ship though...

Anyone inform the seller to ship international?

Last time, the shipping was like 10.95. The shipping for this one is only 6.5 for me.
So it's roughly the same price. The only difference is that this one is PS/2 not USB.

I have this keyboard. It's got a spill shield that most people will want to remove; the spill shield makes the Cherry blacks twice as hard to press. This is not an exaggeration; it's a measurement.

I purchased one and it's working pretty good so far.  The splash guard was pretty disgusting when I received it...first thing I did was remove it.  Also, it seems like all the LEDs are intact and working.

I bought one of these. It was fairly dirty, but cleaned up nicely. Also some of the LEDs on mine were dimmer than others, but from what I could tell, none of them were broken. The only thing that bugs me is the short cable. Also these blacks were not as stiff as I thought they would be, perhaps the springs have aged *shrug*

I'm using one of these as a media center keyboard. It works pretty well. A little heavy for the application, but the size, BL keys, and surprisingly high quality trackpad made up for it's weight in spades.

Why can't they ship to us, smelly canadians. I hate you guys and your CONUS embargo.

"Let's keep all the good keyboards here and one day, we'll buy their country with them, because they'll be desperate to type on something decent". That's what I think and I stand by it! :D

I should add that "no shipping to Canada whine in my sig". I've been posting it a bit too much these days...

Mine was one of the dirtiest keyboards I've ever seen; thank heaven for the rubber membrane.  Inside was great though.  I took apart the whole thing, washed the rubber parts and keycaps, and now good as new (well, with some scratches).  I would say it's a great, cheap way to try out black switches and get a nice compact backlit board.

BTW, many folks have posted that their backlighting was uneven.  On mine, all the LED's are fine and even.  The problem is that some keycaps seem to transmit the light better based on how worn they are.  Just a heads up about that.
I'm back.

When I got mine, it was very dirty as well. But like someone earlier mentioned, the rubber membrane pad actually made it so all the switches were still pristine. Keycaps were also really dirty. Just had to give that keyboard a good washing. Still had some rust on the backside for mine but not a huge deal.

It's a good deal to try out black switches though it feels way different than my Noppoo mx black and I don't have a 3rd one to compare it to so I can't say which is actually the "standard" feel. The taller keycaps on the 911 make it feel a lot lighter than the Noppoo. Wondering if the slightly off center nature of the keycap affects it too. Looks like it's off center to let more light shine through. As is, I put firm silencing pads on the 911 and it's still not as stiff as the Noppoo. Not saying stiffer or looser is better or worse, just making an observation. Interestingly enough, it's also still louder than my Noppoo without any silencing pads, weird.

One thing that I don't think has ever been mentioned yet is the fact that not only does it not have any kick up feet to angle it, but it actually seems to angle DOWN if you lay it flat. The keys on the top seem to receed so it's lower than the keys on the bottom. This drives me absolutely nutz as I need to have feet on my keyboard out, I can't even stand flat keyboards. However the way I can see myself using it in the future is as a portable laptop keyboard (the working trackpad is a nice addition) and chances are I'd probably put the keyboard in my lap where it feels fine.

All in all, it's a great additional novelty keyboard or can be a functional laptop replacement board. It's also a very economical way to try out MX black switches. However I would not recommend this as a mainstay keyboard. I wouldn't even recommend someone who just wants an MX black to supplement their other keyboard switch types to get this, if this is the only one they're gonna get. Get a "real" MX black keyboard, and get this for fun.

I'm typing on one of these right now and I like it quite a bit. However, the keycaps seem a lot looser and in general have more wiggle than my Model M. Is this normal for MX blacks or Deck/TG3 boards or is it something to do with the rubber covering I took out?

I just got my board and did a through cleaning. That splash guard was f'ing gross. Thankfully it does a really good job. The stems, switches, and plate were super clean. I'm waiting for the keys to dry before popping them back on. Hopefully the switches aren't too worn. Seems like it's in good shape so far.

My keys were really worn on the board I received. The switches all seem fine and uniform. Everything feels great though and I've gotten used to the Cherry blacks. I like it a lot and I actually really like the angles around the trackpad for just resting my hands on.

The TG3 without trackpad I bought has like new keys. The font is also smaller (I'm looking for a replacement "T" key if anyone has one in really nice shape). Another difference is that the model with trackpad is completely flat on the bottom. The standard TG3 keys are on a slope. I do like the keyboards a lot after a week or so of use.

Here

The seller actually had another one that did light up and work but it was missing the "T" key. I got it for $30. The real problem is that the "Y" switch only engages after you press it down really hard. I'm not sure what that indicates is wrong with the switch. I'm going to swap the switch with one from my trackpad model.

There are other ones listed on ebay that work but they're more expensive. Still a lot cheaper than a Deck: http://cgi.ebay.com/TG3-Electronics-BL82E-LED-Backlit-USB-Keyboard-/370498126202?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item564368c17a

Maybe someone can answer a question I had about key roll over on this board.

All the keys register if I do one horizontal row (e.g. A-L), so my first thought was 9KRO.  However, if I press a key from each alphabetic row (e.g. Q, A, Z) then I am limited to only those 3 keys (3KRO).  (Plus modifiers=4KRO?)

I guess my question is, is this normal key roll over in action?  I've never tested key roll over on anything but a NKRO board, so I don't have anything to compare my results with.

Both the TG3 boards I've tested have 2KRO. If you have better than 2KRO, then you've got a special board, or your testing is off :-).

Press A (pause) S (pause) and W. I bet you a nickel that W won't register, because it doesn't on my TG3-BLT that I'm typing on now.

My testing is probably off because you're right--if I press A (pause) S (pause) and W the W won't register.  So I guess I just don't understand which keys are used to test rollover.

If I press A (pause) S (pause) and D they all register and I can press A thru Apostrophe/Quotation Mark.  Pressing A (pause) S (pause) locks out keys Q and W in addition to Z and X.  So that's the test then for key rollover?  Thank you.  :)

There's no concise key series to test for rollover. Everyone has a favorite combo or series that is critical. E.G. Can you move diagonally, talk and  fire your weapon at the same time?

Rollover measures the SMALLEST number of keys that ALWAYS register in any combination. SMALLEST and ALWAYS are the key words. Anyone can press down 43 keys with their palms, but if you can't hit WAS at the same time, who cares about the 43 keys?

I'm not sure how bad your scuff marks are, but I polished mine out with a little polishing compound and it turned out great.  http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T-417-Polishing-Compound/dp/B000NWKXRU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1307045797&sr=8-1

I bought one of these. Like everyone else's, it was dirty, and the splash guard is downright nasty. I've currently taken mine apart and have the keycaps soaking in soapy water. The feel of the keys with the splash guard in is.. interesting. The PCB and switches look shiny new, so that splash guard must do a damn good job. Shipping was fast, I had it within two days of buying mine.
