First Time Sculpting

First attempt at sculpting, rather than making blank resin caps

Be gentle.

60% keyboards, 100% of the time.

Nice sculpt, unfortunate subject choice.

Ripster left me a comment on reddit as well.  I mean is it really stealing of a design though?  Its a fist.  I was inspired by hulk hands http://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-78268-Hulk-Smash-Hands/dp/B000XUA6KG

I didn't see a fist cap in existence and wanted to make my own.  Sculpted from clay by myself, only my own fist as reference.  Honestly never even worked with clay before (besides clay pots in elementary school)

I doubt it is infringement.  The design is distinct enough and the form is common enough.

Real critique though: does the thumb extend too far over the lip of the cap in such a way that it would bump things nearby?

Going to find out after I make a mold.  Sandpaper is ready!

With great blessings the jimmies never even rustled.

New Sculpt, hopefully this turns into caps I can use:

Red/black is a resin cap from the old design, white/purple is new design (clay).

Better proportions, smoother, and smaller.
