[IC] Vida - A Lively 60% from CannonKeys
Cringelord:
I love AKB's design language on the last few boards, this especially. Nice to see potential weight options that aren't just aluminum-not sure why people still bother with machining out aluminum for aluminum weights for the sake of a design.
RozenKristal:
It is nice. Though I think the 2.0 USB hub is kinda dated at this point. Possibly doing USB-C or just remove them?
Rob27shred:
Love the ideal & the board look great! I'm pretty well sold as it stands, if it gains enough interest to be priced even lower I think this will be a home run for you guys. Good luck moving forward with this, I filled out the IC & will be keeping up with this!
ylothar:
The board is really interesting and I'm really curious to evaluate the next prototype. GLWIC!!!
Are half-plates also planned? Will the plates be universal? Is it possible to have dedicated ISO plates?
There are two aspects of the board that I'm not completely convinced by:
* the mounting system: it would be interesting to also have at least a gasket option, similar to what was done for the Cycle7/8;
* why is the USB hub mounted upside down? This makes it incompatible with some devices, such as Yubico security tokens and similar; moreover it exposes the PCB fixing screws: IMHO I find them ugly to look at, in fact they pass through the internal weight and are not symmetrical.
Osidian:
Love this 60%. Looks phenomenal, love the route chosen to go with magnetic case construction. Easy to modify with a balanced and simplistic design. GLWIC :thumb:
