Why does Tp4 get so triggered, whenever people get information wrong about CRT vs OLED vs LCD.

Everytime this happens. Tp4 feels the compulsion to write an essay.

It's like a disease.

What the hell do they put in these, Crack Cocaine?

Seriously, TP4 has resorted to stashing them in the basement to create some acquisition cost. Can't stop thinking about eating Biscott.

If Tp4 could afford it, Tp4 would eat 1 per minute possibly even every 30seconds, sun up to sun down.

The texture is so well done, just the right amount of crunchy, even, all the way through, no hot/cold spots.

Horray for getting uncontrollably older!
I need to wear this heart monitor for the next 2 weeks. It began falling off after two hours, so there is no way this thing will last that long.

Just purchased some sodas. $60 for 12x12can

How can people afford this. Tp4 has to stretch it out 1 soda every 2 days for the year.

It used to be half this price.

Stargate Atlantis,

Is it just me, or did they not bring any Instant noodles for all 5 seasons?

How could an alien world expedition even happen if they don't have Instant noodle?

This afternoon I opened one of my beehives in order to feed them, which they should have appreciated, but they were ferocious and relentless in their attack on me.

Only got stung 3 times but it could have been a lot worse - one was in my ear but I got it out without it stinging me.

Still can't figure out how they got inside my jacket.

"Politicians have been proving Carlin right for decades. The GOP and the second Trump Administration seem bent on doing what they’ve always done, sometimes even turning the American Dream into the American Nightmare. Taxes are a major contributor, especially the billions upon billions that the rich and corporations don’t pay. Trump and his fellow Republicans are committed to keeping it that way — and, if their slim Congressional majorities can stick together, to do even more for those who need it the least. As one small example, the overall corporate tax rate could drop to 20%; domestic manufacturers could do even better, ending up with an effective corporate rate of 15%. The federal tax code is famous (and infamous) for its huge handouts to those with the highest incomes, the most egregious being the cap on Social Security taxes."

Is it coming off or is it the plastic cover that helps install it.
I had to wear a similar one recently and it was only later did I realize it had a white coating to help place which was coming off leaving a clear sticker/bandage underneath.

Also beware... they claim 2 weeks but don't tell you when it actually starts counting, by the time I was done it had been 17 days.

Just the adhesive on the sticky side, it keeps slightly lifting off my skin in a hump in the middle of the band, then resticking right on my sternum which is super uncomfortable all the time. Tried sticking it down w/ medical tape, and now the tape is gross and peeling after just a day. I don't understand how anyone who moves and lives like a human can keep it on without constant maintenance.

What's condition is this monitoring for ?
Depends on the person.
They are a portable, mini ECG, so it can see if the heart is missing beats or flutter (and probably more). This can be genetic conditions, enlargement, or problems caused by high or low blood pressure. Basically it just checks if your heart is operating properly longer term than they can see in the 30 seconds or so they usually look at in an office setting.

I can imagine. I use ostomy bags that get glued to my skin. But at least I change them every day.

I have to shave the area, and make sure that hair can get trapped and pulled.

I use a "no itch skin barrier" wet wipe before applying the bag, or otherwise the skin will itch after the bag has been applied, but it still itches a bit along the edges.

On some brands of bags, I first have to cut a couple mm off one edge along where it lies flat against the skin: otherwise it can easily peel from that edge if it isn't completely flush.

(And I have not even started talking about the nasty stuff)

Looking for even one single reason why I shouldn't remove my heart monitor for 20 minutes when I shower. All I see is 'You are not to remove it' and 'Keep it on at all times, even when showering'
Not one singular reason is given at all whatsoever. Just 'Keep it on because we say so' which is bull****. I read tons of posts about them falling off constantly, so it can't be that big of a deal.
So I am taking this annoying thing off to shower tonight.

If you cannot elaborate with even one concrete reason, then it is a rule I don't need to follow.

They want you to shower with it because removing it will waste the mount and they aren't cheap.

When you are walking around in public, and your underwear falls down inside your pants. So you are trying really hard not to call attention to it or walk weirdly, but your undies are fulley down resting in the crotch and legs of your pants.
'Just act normal until you can find a bathroom to fix them. No one notices the weird ball of cloth around your legs and cock area.'

No way, I hate that feeling. That and going sockless just feels nasty to me.

The real reason it happened is I was wearing my house-boxers which are pretty loose fitting, as opposed to my favored boxerbriefs.
Or latex thong, if it's laundry day  ;)

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Manufacturing QD-OLED panels using Samsung Display’s technology requires indium, a material that’s quite rare (found only in China) and, therefore, very costly. Canon’s QD-OLED technology reportedly uses lead, which is more widely available, and as a result, cheaper.

Lead hn... well ok, if it means QD oled for everyone.

WA State liquor tax is disgusting.
20.5% spirit tax + 6.5% state tax + 2.5% local tax = 29.5% taxes on all alcohol

**** you Costco(the ones who cause the spirit tax), and **** you WA State where everything is already absurdly expensive.
I hate this place so much, easily the worst place I've ever lived. The sheer irony of my funds being drained so deeply just to barely live here, so I can't save any money to move out of this ****hole state, is not lost on me at all.

It's designed to discourage alcohol consumption THROUGH CAPITALISM.

All it really does is punish the already poor.  They drink because they're wealth-poor and can't afford better living.  They drink because they're time-poor so they can't work up the introspection to improve their lives.

The alcohol is numbing, but it's a temporary fix to their problem, much like Insulin is to diabetes.

The people in charge are in no hurry to cure diabetes, or people's poorness. They will sell them more alcohol, and more insulin. They go so far as to teach doctors that diabetes is incurable. Similarly we teach that the labor of the poor is unskilled labor, therefore less valuable.

This forces the poor to circle the drain, until the tower topples, and both the rich AND poor gets sacked, Every single empire fell for the exact same reasons, Corruption and GLUTTONY.

They totally changed Mountain Dew Code Red.

It used to taste like cough medicine with a stinging after taste.  Now, it's extremely mild/smooth, basically cherry coke but less sour/bitter.

Noisy, switch to w33d - you guys have it legal and cheap :)
Plus your liver will thank you.

w33d smells so bad, you guys don't think it smells bad?

Kind of like wet dog.

Cilantro tastes like soap to a portion of the population and Korea likes kimchi. People like different things. If you use the stuff, you likely associate the smell with good things where as if you don't like it, it smells bad because you don't associate it with good things. Also, there are near countless ways to ingest THC. Drinks and gummies are becoming increasingly more popular.

I think it smells really nice. One of my favorite scents is the smell of the bud, citrus/pine/sweet
tbf different strains smell different. Used glassware is one of the worst smells out there.

Man, Hot Pockets fell off hard.
No more crisping sleeve, cut half the flavors, discontinues croissant, lean, and pretzel pockets, changed the bread to be drier and harder.

Croissant and Lean Pockets were the only ones I ever occasionally bought when I'd get that hankerin'. Guess I'm done with Hot Pockets for the rest of life. Not that that's a bad thing, but I hate having my decision made for me by the company shooting themselves in the face like this.

Counterpoint, they should fail. All these business that prioritize profits over customers deserve to fail. Their products are not a net positive in regards to health and to make it worse they don’t even taste good anymore. I will say baked pizza rolls still slap. Thanks Totinos.

Well, when its not a nicest smell, its being associated with good things, then smell always bring good thoughts and taken as nice :)
Different strains smell differently, some have weak smell, some are so hard that when I smell it on street passing someone with stuff on them, it hits me so hard I'm always shocked :)
