So, this morning I decided to swap the keys from a deceased M onto a Unicomp, because I hate that Uni disco'd the removable caps. So easy to clean! Anyway, a spring popped off the Uni when I pulled its key off. I placed it back on to the little post, but that little voice in my head told me that it wasn't going to be that simple. It does works, sort of (I'm typing on that kb now) but the key is flaky. The slightest touch actuates it. I can live with it (it's the letter Z) but I really would like to repair it if I can. Any ideas?
