Hello Geekhack!

This keyset was inspired by Tech3 early 2000s colorway. A 250cc class motorcycle racing team. Olivier Jacques, and Shinya Nakano rode for them that year and they had a fantastic season, culminating with Olivier being crowned the World Champion in 2000. As a motogp fan, I have long wanted to make a set based on this theme.

The colors are based off the team livery that season, primarily cold grey and acid green with orange accents. Acid green is for Olivier Jacques and orange is for Shinya Nakano. I hope other fans of motor sports will enjoy this keyset as much as I have creating it.

I was just thinking the same thing, the mods are softer on the eyes. I really like the look of this one, Neon Yellow is my favorite color. I went all in on GMK Night Runner, now I have to get this one. lol

Cool colorway, it looks fairly close to GMK Flow but with more contrast. Are you using RAL colors or Pantone?

The kit was based on RAL colors except the Orange accent which is Pantone atm. Will try to find the best RAL to fit the colour.

I think that would be a great addition, for reference, you can check Mito's last sets which were expanded for the most compatibility that I've seen in a base kit (he separated the numpad but not necessarily relevant in this case)

I personally like the idea of having more compatibility without having to commit to kits that one might not actually have a need or plan for; only for those obscure kits to become coveted in the used market down the road. I've recently sold my GMK 3Run because compatibility with that set was near impossible and would love to replace it with this.

Any chance of including a Formula 1 car in the novelties? I know the set was inspired by MotoGP but the colorway reminds me of Brawn GP including the Orange which almost matches the highlights of Barrichello's helmet and the rollbar of Button's car perfectly!

Hello people,

Added RAL color references
Added placeholder for the 40 kit as people are asking for it on several networks. Preparing it.
Also Added render on the Bauer with Orange accents.
While doing the render for accent, the yellow numpad looked really weird with the orange enter on a full size. That's why now the numpad enter key is a part of the addon kit.

The Yellow is a lot more green than I was expecting, but I like it still. Always could go Night Runner Safety Yellow as GMK can match it

Hi friend! Would you consider adding R3 PgUp and R4 PgDn to your base kit? If you're looking for a few keys to shave off, I'd say the duplicate 1u Ctrl and Alt would be prime candidates for that :)

The 2x 1u keys are for planck/65% column while the 1.5u key is for split backspace.

Zekth, for novelty kit in R2 why are there 1u keys? Also there would be nothing opposite to brake if we place it on tab/backslash key.

The 2x 1u keys are for planck/65% column while the 1.5u key is for split backspace.

At first it was mainly for split backspace use but it's pretty uncommon to have also the pipe mod colored. Fixed in the base kit.

Also i've added a second B in the spacekit for alice users.

This is a must buy for me. It's like a light alpha version of GMK Nightrunner. Nightrunner is by far my favorite set I have ever seen and I have seen almost all of the GMK sets from the last few years. This is a close second and may even be just as nice IMO on the right board. The problem with Nightrunner is it only looks good on a black board or navy if you could match it perfectly. This kit would also look great on E-white or polycarbonate. Please make sure you update here when the buy goes live. October is still a few months off and I really don't want to forget and miss this.

Thanks for putting in the time and effort to make this set a reality. I personally have no interest in racing so the theme doesn't actually matter to me but it turned out amazing either way.

Consider changing the R4 \| ISO key to R4 <> in order to avoid a duplicate \| legend on ISO boards. For example, see how GMK Boneyard and GMK ThinkCaps did it. You can read more about this kind of ISO support here.

Also consider adding a generic R3 1.25u key (e.g. Meta, Code or Fn) to the 40s kit. Staggered 40% boards use various R3 1.25u keys on the left side, not just Enter and Tab, so it'd be nice to have this option. This one key, being generic, could cover many different layouts.

Perhaps also consider reducing the number of accent/non-accent variations in the 40s kit to make it less expensive. For example, drop some of the non-accent Enters.

On motorcycle brakes there is more details to add and can be either too sketchy or not even possible due to GMK constraints :/ Also as i read there is couple of car folks interested in this set, which ends up as a compromise.
