Title: Green aluminum case?
Post by: ZyBeR on Mon, 08 October 2018, 08:14:40
Hi,

I'm looking for a green aluminum case (60-65%) to match a SA Nuclear Data keyset.
The only once I've found in the "right" colour is TEX and KBDFans 5 degrees, are there any other alternatives?

How is the quality on those two cases? One better than the other?

Eh, Green on ... Green?

I would think that Green on White would look much more... nice?

Also easier to find. But to each their own, as they say.

Who? I dont know...

...

Also not every 60% board will fit into any 60% case..

So, a case for what keyboard ... exactly?

I haven't bought a PCB yet so I'm open to any programmable one that would fit :)
Was eyeing the dz60 from kbdfans though.

I recently built a 5 degree board with Zilents, and I'm quite happy with it. Mine in particular is black, but the anodizing is of a fine quality. It's not up there with the best of the best, but for the price, the quality is absolutely more than adequate.

(If you use clear switch housings and want the underglow to shine through the switches, use some aluminum ducting tape - it works really well!)

Tofu 60% green maybe that is something that fits your criteria. But like Olumin said green goes better with white but hey it's your board your choice :).
