Title: [6/23 price up] My First Group Buy collecting advise/interest
Post by: qtan5370 on Tue, 21 June 2011, 20:04:33: I am now going to set up a kind of group this time to see if I can work it out. Basically, price is opened to everybody, since you can always check on TaoBao, it would not be much space for that. So, for buying keyboard, what you can save instead of biding individually from my eBay, is about 5 dollar shipping and the 5% eBay fee cost. But if you buying non-keyboard item, you do save more on shipping.

1. I accept all kind of orders, any brand of keyboard,caps/case/even mouse/mouse pad.....whatever is legally can be shipped I would take it if you accept the price :P

2. Target to at least 8 keyboard. You can order small/light item without order keyboard.

3. Now the shipping price is here:

-----For any order up to 1.5KG weight (one keyboard weight about 1.1-1.3 KG), shipping would be 14(west)/15(east) dollars, than one additional pound would be 1 dollar no matter what order you put into it(keyboard count 3 pound, key-caps 2 for one pound).

-----For order only key-caps/mouse pad/mouse--- 5 dollar first, than 1 dollar for each addition item (small light item).

Detail about shipping: The shipping from my city(GuangZhou China) to LA would be 5/dollar per KG(if it over 1 KG, it count 1.5 KG, but we are combining the shipping to reduce cost) , and FedEx smart would charge about 8-10 dollar for devilry. One keyboard weight about 1-1.5 KG.

Shipping to Non-U.S address would depend on the location. Now U.K would consider one dollar extra to U.S (buyer pay VAT if there is). Other EU county, AU, Canada would be up later.

4. Because one official KBC poker order was opened so I would not take order for this keyboard.

5. Targeting order taking deadline is 7/5 and shipping on 7/9, arrived U.S on 7/13, then delivery through FedEx smart/home(2-3 days)

The time is a little bit long since it is the peak time during holiday, I won't rush into it. Well, if I can get a set on 6/28 order by 6/28, than it might be shipped on 6/30 and get U.S on 7/3 but FedEx might be moving slow on that week due to my experiences by ordering my cloth inside U.S

6. First step I would collect interest, price would be given if I check it is in stock. I would also update some Price list. I think two post would be made, one for interest and price asking, one for taking order. If you see the your interest item already there please do not ask the same item.

7. All interest should be open post. So, we can count.

That would be much faster, and better for me. But I won't think that would lower the final price anyway. FedEx shipping would start with about 9 dollar and went up slowly, if I ship all to same place, it saves money, but someone must shipped out again, I don't it would save any cost when you added up.

But it is all up to buyer decided.

What I do is all my item would entry my warehouse in LA then I ship it to individual buyer via FedEx. If you like to handle all order, welcome to connect me.

Will, just because of the shipping, now shipping a keyboard to Canada would be 30 dollar via EMS 4-7 working days. If the item come to U.S first, than go to Canada, it would be almost same price and it takes longer, what is the point to doing so? And someone told me that Canada charge a lot tax to item ship vis USPS.... I can go ahead to do that, but I just have no idea what's the point of doing so. If you need an item, you can just ask me individually.

Depend on the country. U.K would save some cost, it would be around , other have no idea, because item have to ship to U.K first than ship by Royal mail. Tracking for Royal mail is about 7 dollar by itself, you can save cost if you do not need the tracking. And now EMS is in low price, so you won't save much.

But, you at lest save about 5-10 dollar if you from me in here, since no eBay fee would be charge.

That price is for Individual order. Order place here in the group buy would have no more than 15 dollar shipping fees, I would try to manager to lower it to 10-12 dollar.

Poker is official group buy and I respect that, noppoo is not in official group buy, so I posted it in my item, buyer can choose freely. Let me know if I should change it. I do got poker in pretty nice price.

From what I can see, I second this. It says that the order is completely sold out.

A Poker 40% with MX Blues would be nice if available. If not, I guess I could consider a Noppoo Choc Mini with MX-Blues, though.

The group buy price you list for the Noppoo Choc Mini is lower than that of the normally less expensive Poker even buying outside of eBay, so it would make more sense to go for the Noppoo.

the problem is that the pictures literally show several items-- some with different size backspaces, some with green switches, some with white.

I also see a cherry version at 305 rmb, and an NKRO one at like 270 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=8681671120&ad_id=&am_id=&cm_id=&pm_id=

If someone could make sense of what the product actually was (layout, switch type), they could be exciting choices. I'd go for a white-switch one with standard ANSI layout, possibly NKRO, assuming the total was reasonable.

Non-printed in China mean nothing on it at all.

engraved, it seems like it might have to kind of engraved keys, so I am confusing about words right now.

The different is first letter is "shape up"(pop up? whatever it is higher than the face), second is "cut in to" the key. Which one is the Engraved that you guys mean? In Chinese they have same name.

You pay for what you get, that's only I can say with PLU. PLU red switches is on my list, although is just per-order but I was told it be out before 7/4

Noppoo is much better than PLU. My noppoo is selling good.

Post by: Tempy on Fri, 24 June 2011, 01:31:23: i have a plu-87 with browns, and i absolutely love it, the stabilizers make a bit more noise than any filco i have owned, and the build quality is definitely lower than filco, but all in all its a really great board for typing, and for it's price you cannot beat it.

I remember the Noppoo Choc Mini was supposedly NKRO over USB. Will the full size Choc keyboards also be NKRO over USB? Also, what is the difference between the Choc and the Choc Pro?

Noppoo pro is NKRO, pom key caps and has Pro logo on it. Choc did not state it is NKRO but some review said it is.

I do not have English review for Noppoo choc or choc pro, there is nice review in Chinese since this keyboard is made in Taiwan, China.

ML-3000 have some General improvement.....Plus there is a ML-3000 NKRO(PLU state that) vision.

Well, I would do so, I just forgot to put the "pink" on the list. But I need to go back and check how many I can get from filco. Anyway, I always have backup supplier just need additional 2 days to place order and 2-3 dollar ship it from another city. But if the factory stop supply the item, that would be another story, that price would be change.

Yup, Razer US only carries the normal Salmosa (http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169419400). The Asian Edition is supposedly smaller and lighter and that's exactly what I need. =)

Well, I believes so, I also try to look deep into this but never find out different...I would ask them double check the model number.

I would keep an eyes on the keycaps.

I don't know if it helps but the in Japan, this model is called Majestouch Black (with JIS layout) but the one for US (ANSI layout) is called Majestouch Ninja.

My man confirmed G-king-2(all my list is 2,no 1) is equal to filco 104 Majestouch-2. G-King just what they call in China.

I do have way to custom key-caps. I mean I can just take caps to factory or workshop to custom the print as upon requirement, but I think that would be another run.

i bet kbc 11 special keys are the orange ones for 11 big keys like space, shift, enter and so on. "4 color side printed/engraved keycaps" are regular 37 key caps with side printed or engraved letters.

Custom caps would be another run, might be I would post it after this run. Price I post is for a set, like 37/box or 28/box or 104/108 a set. There is noway to 10 or 13 dollar for a single cap.....

Non-printed Single PBT caps can be ordered at 2.5 dollar per one(color/white).But, I won't take the single caps order right now in the group buy, because it just take too much time to confirm the single caps and so easy to mass up when handling with too much order.

I also not quite got you.....There are many ways for "black on", I mean engraved caps also might have black fill on it. I think you are looking for red printed PBT caps, right? There are two type 37/box for letter zone and 28/box for F1 zone, refer to taobao website picture I provided.

You can order only caps, there is ok.

Seriously? If the ABS keycaps are pad printed and NOT engraved, I don't want them and will get KBC PBT engraved keycaps instead. Qtan, can you confirm if the Ducky ABS keycaps are engraved or not? Also, what are the prices for KBC PBT engraved keycaps? (104, NOT 37)

Google Translate requires javascript to work. I default to having javascript off, and have to manually enable it to translate a site. Hope you can get it working, that translation service is very freeing.

There are no otaku(blank or non-printed,right?) on hand. However, you might consider buy a 104 set non-printed filco key-caps.

Also at the very bottom of a thread, there is a checkbox that says "close thread", right under the quick reply text box.
